Lewis' comment was clearly tongue-in-cheek, though. Surprised you didn't get it...
What did Hamilton actually say? I must have missed it.
Proof that Merc are blowing the front wing (the two ducts):

A comment he made while been interviewed on ITV's coverage. What did Hamilton actually say? I must have missed it.
Proof that Merc are blowing the front wing (the two ducts):
The duct is the silver pipe going from the back of the car, up to the radiator, presumably enters the tub somewhere around there.
20 seconds added to his race time.
He really improved dramatically compared to his ITV years.Using the RTL feed along with 5 live so far seems to be working nicely.
James Allen is great.
Same.Sky's coverage during the red flag put me to sleep and I missed the fun part. Dullards one and all, with all respect.
Now I have to rewatch, knowing the result.

I didn't see it in the race or anyone comment on it, why did Kobayashi DNF?
Kamui Kobayashi (DNF)
It is great for our team to have scored so well today, but for me personally, of course, it was a very disappointing race. Technically I struggled with the brakes and that was then also why I had to give up after 47 laps. Besides that for me the strategy didnt work out, which, of course, is always easy to realise in hindsight. I had a good start but then it was a long time before I changed from intermediates to rain tyres. It was not easy to keep the car on track, and almost as soon as I had changed the red flag came out. But nobody can know this in advance. Later in the race then it was the other way round. I would have loved to get dry tyres, but we were expecting more rain so, again, I could not get rid of the intermediate tyres.

I wasn't talking about myself Others who may have been casual fans AND managed to catch his comments (which I doubt... casual fans wouldn't be chasing up post-race comments) would be less likely to support him.Turkey 2010 didn't already do that for you?
Yup. I'm still in the same boat of HRT not deserving to be there, but if they followed the rules and didn't do anything drastically wrong, they shouldn't be penalised. Don't remember seeing Button getting all narky. Took full ownership of the incident and looks the better man for it. In fact, I reckon I've gone from feeling indifferent toward Vettel to somewhat disliking him. Not drastic, but it's from neutral to negative... so there ya go.Ridiculous.
Yeah I didn't see it happen during the race either. Here's a quote from Formula1.com though.
DamnBrakes plus what appeared to be something wrong with the suspension. His car was all over the place.
That's because Button was 100% at fault for what happened with his incident. Meanwhile Vettel was lapping Karthikeyan.Yup. Such a shame that Sergio couldn't bring home that win but the kid is most definitely a huge talent. What an eventful race. I thought it was particularly funny when Alonso was crossing the line you could see the bright helmet of Massa in the foreground.
I'm going to have to download that BBC highlight package now. Woo!

F1RM: I moved up 26 positions to become #89 on the leaderboard. 556 points last race. That's good, right?
Now, with the money from that race (I guess) and the quiz, I have 10mil. Do I save or upgrade something? TBH I'm pretty happy with what I have, with the exception of the drivers.
Just one more lap, I wish this race had just one more lap, so Alonso could've destroyed Felipe. I wonder how Reb Smedley must've felt.
Still doesn't require him to hit Karthikeyan when the guy was out of the way. Even if you're lapping cars, you can't drive through them. That's because Button was 100% at fault for what happened with his incident. Meanwhile Vettel was lapping Karthikeyan.
That's better than what I have. Sad thing is, even though I know it's a better investment to improve the engine than the driver, I just don't want to hang onto Pic anymore. Waste of space :/Same boat here. I have 13 million to spend after Malaysia and no clue what to do with it. I'm even going to clear more space when I switch Petrov again for Kovalainen for China. I don't know whether to go for Senna or Vergne or Koba or Grosjean (provided he doesn't CRASH AGAIN) or do something else. Being new to this is rough.
He didn't.Still doesn't require him to hit Karthikeyan when the guy was out of the way. Even if you're lapping cars, you can't drive through them.
Ferrari won't always be in disarray. Especially with completely new regulations next year.
I agree. Pretty sure he said himself he would have gone for it.
Karthi said he caught wheelspin when he drove on the rumble strip and that's why he swerved back. Not even that far, either. He didn't.
I'm not defending Vettel for his response or how he acted after the fact, but the guy left him room. Karthekeyan moved back over when there was still too little space, causing him to clip his wing on the tire.
I understand the response of "well he needed to be on the racing line", that doesn't give him the right to clip the car.
Again, Karthikeyan could have and should have stayed out of the way.
Perez, man I thought he was gonna win it.
Massa hasnt really been the same since he lost the WDC to Hamilton on the last corner of the last race.Massa I dunno. I like the guy, but ever since he copped that knock to the head he just doesn't have the edge he needs. Years ago you'd have picked the guy to win a WDC at some point; now you just wonder how long he'll have a car to drive. Maybe he'll turn into Barrichello 2.0 with longevity in the sport with bugger all to show for it. Mind you it's not like he would be skint on money.....
Boo-hoo? He's still a backmarker being passed.Karthi said he caught wheelspin when he drove on the rumble strip and that's why he swerved back. Not even that far, either.
I don't think it's fair to say this just yet.Maclaren again, dominating quali but just don't seem to be anywhere near as special during the race. A solid third for Hamilton again despite coming in late and having two poor pit stops. Looked like a fairly lonely race, was hoping he could come back and challenge the front two but again, the car has awesome pace in quali but just seems like it doesn't have any edge during the race.
Unlike Massa however Barrichello has always been a strong driver, just Ferrari favoured Schumacher in his Ferrari days.Massa I dunno. I like the guy, but ever since he copped that knock to the head he just doesn't have the edge he needs. so did he, untill THAT radio message
even if he had of got past, Ferrari International Assistance wouldve given him a penalty after the race to put alolso back on top
That's because Button was 100% at fault for what happened with his incident. Meanwhile Vettel was lapping Karthikeyan.
Indeed.Today I was actually happy with Brundle and Croft, but after seeing the BBC highlights, it looks like DC is still doing the better job. Somehow I just enjoyed it more.
Felipe is simply past his prime:
he used to be a good driver, not an exceptional one, mind you but after losing the WDC by 1 point and then having his incident I believe he has developed a conscience of the danger inherent to racing and he has lost the ability to be on the edge because he lost his "1 chance at being the champion".
It's showing a lot with his desperate attempts at blocking cars regardless of right or wrong and his really poor qualifying form.
Sadly, it impacts his behavior off the track, he's much more aggressive and it's a real shame because Massa is a really good guy who does give back a lot to the community.
Read this earlier - it seems odd.
But this quote "Adam leaves us on good terms to pursue a better balance in his life for which I wish him and his family well."
Im guessing its personel issues within his life that is making him leave rather than anything to do within the team.
lol @ Vettel. Seriously? If Hamilton was at fault last year, Vettel has to be at fault there.
.... WTF?
I didn't see it in the race or anyone comment on it, why did Kobayashi DNF?
conspiracy bsdont act surprised, we all know f1 is run by politics, jean todt is luca's personal fluffer

Yes there are politics, but then they are there in every sport.
But that 'Ferrari International Assistance' stopped being funny and accurate around 4 seasons back and just makes you sound like an ass, so stop it.
