I've seen enough people post here and on the ECF site that I've ordered some juice from Alien Visions. I have some Boba's Bounty and some apple thing I decided to try out.

While I didn't like the fact that I had to sign up for an account, I ordered it late last night and this morning I received an email that my order has been shipped! I'm used to having to wait a day or two, so needless to say I'm already impressed. They were cheaper than my usual vendors as well, so they may have a regular customer from now on if I like their product :)

i've been begging for over 5 years.
Got my refill from AVE.

GzPQt.jpg

They threw in a FREE 30ml bottle of Boba's Bounty and another lapel pin just for me being such an awesome dude. lol

I'm loading up the Pineapple Pulp right now since that is the only one I haven't tasted yet. It smells incredible.

edit : Pineapple Pulp tastes very similar to a Pina Colada. Lots of vapor production too as with all AVE juices.

Didn't realize there was a thread here. Just got my Joye510 starter kit, I was wondering if anyone knew of a really good pina colada type mix. Basically something with a nice blend of pineapples and coconut (have that more as an undertone).

Edit: just saw the edit. Worth purchasing?

You may have a better time with something that is sold as a "Pina Colada" this Pineapple Pulp from AVE just reminds me of Pina Colada because it seems to have some very light coconut undertones. That said I'm a big fanboy of avejuice.com and think that everyone should try some of their flavors.

Boba's Bounty and Apple Teaser arrived in the mail! Boba's Bounty is amazing! Damn, so is the apple!

Ok, they have a regular customer in me. From the quick service, to the price, and the fantastic juice, it's a no brainer!

I have to say...this maple flavor is absolute garbage. Disgusting. Waste of money. I bought a pack of analogs because it has made everything out of this atomizer taste like maple. Blech

WEll, my next order from Nite Lite Vapors came in, I got more Bounty Hunter (130ml) NLV Gold (30ml), Line Rider (30ml) and Renegade (30ml), along with a straight tobacco flavor and their cafe latte.

Nite Lite is amazing, $10 for 30mls is insane and their flavors so far have blown me away. Bounty Hunter is my favorite, but NLV Gold rocks too. I just tried line rider right now and I LOVE it as well. It's like a 555 but with some additional spices, it is great, nice vapor, amazing TH, and overall just plain tasty.

Next to try is Renegade, their RY4ish one, we shall see how it goes. But again, I can't recommend NLV enough, they are a small company but really, really good.

Next on my list, finding a good 808 tank.

Well, I'm about to switch to vaping, but have questions. Is the Smok Tech 510 eGo-T Kit the same as the Joye eGo-T? Also, is the eGo-C an updated model of the eGo-T? Lastly, does anyone know of a cheap place to buy an eGo-T 900 mAh or 1,000 mAh with both high and low resistance?

Just found that Smok Tech also makes a product called eGo-T.

I just started getting into ecigs (disposable) and want to get a refillable. I've determined that I want a Joye, but have no idea which is the best.

Also, I understand that the difference between manual and automatic batteries is that auto you can just take a drag and it activates while on manual you have to press a button, right? I've not used a manual, but I really like the automatic design of just taking a drag and it working.

Anyways all of these Joye kits seem to be only manual, which makes me think that maybe I'm mistaken on what I just said above. Which brings me back to my ultimate confusion on which one is right for me.

Any help would be appreciated as I'd like to place the order today.

So I'm about to order the KGO kit that BroseyBrose mentioned in post #325. I'll wait a couple minutes in case anyone would like to advise against that in favor of something else.

edit: just ordered it. Kind of frustrating that on the page that tells you your order has been completed, they have a message that says they are moving and shipping may be delayed until August 3rd. Would have been nice to know that before I placed the order. Also, since I've had 2 unanswered posts and finally made an order, I assume I'll get all kinds of questions answered shortly.

No, it is a copy, Joye is the original. I don't know if there is really much difference.

Manual requires pushing a button, which is what I prefer.

I figured as much. Since Ive never tried manual I just didn't know which way most people preferred.

Also I bought a Blu disposable (regular flavor, never was a menthol guy) on the way home to tide me over til the KGO comes in. It tastes like coffee but the volume of vapor is fantastic

Yeah I didn't order any juice. I assumed the starter kit would get me going for a while, but I guess I should go ahead and order some? And where did you guys say was the best place for ordering juice?

I love seeing this thread bumped!

I'm currently at over 4 months cigarette free. I love vaping. There are so many delicious flavors out there.

My current favorite supplier is AVEJuice.com everything I've sampled from them I've loved. Gorilla Juice is far and away my favorite. It's an everyday vape.

Do they have something that would taste like a camel light?

I haven't smoked in over a year now, but I still want to try one of these things. Might have to grab a disposable sometime and see how it goes.

So in addition to this KGO starter kit I bought, I'm kind of putting together now that I need to by a cartomizer so that I will be able to use the juice. Is this correct? Also, several people in the reviews are talking about a clearomizer? I'm just kind of confused. I go out of town in about 10 days so I'd like to have this all in order before then.

Ok, so I think what I'm going to buy is this Clearomizer from Discount Vapors. It seems like there are some others that I can get in a 5 pack for the same amount of money, but people seem to like this 'Stardust' model a lot. Any input?

Still a bit unclear as to what I need to start dripping. I think I'm going to put an order in at AVEJuice, but I don't know if I need to buy one of these drip tips or if I'll already have one with the kit I'm getting. Also, I would think I'd need the whole syringe situation, so hopefully AVE Juice will be able to provide that for me since, as it stands, I'll be placing orders through 3 different vendors and I'd rather not expand on that.

Just started using an E-Cig last week. I was a pretty casual smoker, but I figure if I'm going to do it at all it may as well be as healthy as it can be. But mainly I couldn't resist the awesome flavours :p I got an Ego Twist, variable voltage and I'm loving it.

E-Juices are a mixed bag. It's so subjective that reviews aren't all that useful. I bought 6 flavours, all backed up by fantastic feedback and 3 of them are just garbage to me. Not at all like the flavour would suggest. I guess you just have to keep experimenting til you find what's right. Although I suppose reviews are helpful for what to avoid -- if most people say the caramel tastes like curry, I'll probably leave the experimenting to someone else :p

I got a stardust (Ego Vision) with my e-cig and I've had no problem with it. Hassle free, easy to fill and it produces a nice vape.

If you're going to buy an atomizer for dripping an 306 LR seems to be highly recommended. I got one and it produces the best flavour for me. As for a syringe, I find the bottles drip well enough for me. My atomizer came with a drip tip, but it can't hurt to buy one, they cost next to nothing.

Didnt your kit come with 2 atomizers? Get a drip tip ($1) and use those for dripping.

Cartos/clearos are also an option. These are the devices that screw onto your battery that you fill with liquid.

Anybody using the new Ego twists? Pretty awesome, I've had two for a month now I think. 3.2-4.8 variable voltage for less than $30.

I've been dripping with a 306. Need to find a new solution like a clearomizers/stardust style carto. The Smoktech single coils went to shit earlier this year and now the Boges are garbage too and taste like Turkey Bacon (see PBusardo YouTube vids). Any suggestions for a new carto? Mainly for the Twists and/or 3.7v pass-thru.

I follow PBusardo too and heard his complaints about the Boge's. I still use them and have been for quite a while. I order mine from avejuice and I haven't experienced any 'turkey bacon' taste out of them.

Hopefully that doesn't change when avejuice restocks.

Finally got my KGO kit today. This is the first e-cig I've ever even seen in person aside from disposables, so now I have more of an understanding on how everything comes together and how they work.

I'm happy with it. The cord for the charger could have been a bit longer, but I guess I can use a USB extension for that.

So, just to be clear now. I can attach a clearomizer to this thing and it will essentially replace the atomizer right? Also, another alternative would be to just get a drip tip and continue to use the existing atomizer, correct? Which of these would be the better alternative?

And how much life can I expect to get out of the cartridges that came with this kit? Just want to know when I need to be placing orders and whatnot.

Correct, and its a matter of preference. Try both. Order a clearomizer, and drip until the clearo arrives. The drip tip is really just a matter of convenience. You can just as easily use the carts that came with the attys as a mouthpiece.

I wouldnt even use the carts that came with it except as a mouth piece for dripping...

Thanks, man. I'm really enjoying this thing a ton. Way better than the disposables. I discovered that there is a vapor/e-cig place right around the corner from me, so I'm going to check it out.

So AveJuice.com. Every time I go there it says 'orders closed for the day'. Admittedly I never remember to check until night time. Do they re-up every day? It's just kinda confusing.

Yes, once they take enough orders they close shop for the day. Try in the morning US EST and youll get it.

My first favorite flavor was a sweet tobacco juice with a real bite, called "Sweet Caroline", from ivape.net. Its still in my top 3 and Joe from ivape is a great vendor. Try a 10ml bottle of that stuff for $6. I cant recommend it enough.

Another juice vendor i have no hesitation recommending is backwoodsbrew.com.

It's a weird site man. Dude is a one man show (i think) and only takes orders for a specified amount of product per day. I have no idea what that specified amount is. When I need to re-up I usually head there in the morning hours or early afternoon.

Totally worth the hassle btw

I'm gonna check out iVape. I've been Backwoods Brew exclusive for a few months now. Malty Toffee might be the best thing ever, and I really like Cassablanca and their coffee stuff. Honey Flue Nut is great too.

I fell off the wagon for about a month and went back to analogs, kicking myself for it.

BUT! I found an actual brick and mortar store here in OKC where I'm currently staying. It has a vapor bar where you can test out all of the different flavors that they sell. I highly recommend this place. The juices here are really good.

If you try it out, put that I referred you in the order.

If I get 2 people I get 20 bucks in store credit!

Just PM me and I'll give you my name.

Yeah i picked up 2 eGo twist VV batts and a bunch of cisco spec bridgeless 510 attys. I go back and forth between the eGo twist VV and the kGo batteries, not really preferring one over the other. Theyre both excellent performers, the kGo being the better value imo.

Zeth, try these https://www.hoosierecig.com/EGO-Vision-clearomizers-21-24ohm_p_90.html. Im not really a carto guy but my carto friends say these are the best.

Ok, so I'm now ordering 4 of those Vision clearos. Also getting a 3.7 or 4v pass-thru/battery. That should help me get a lot more life out of my other batteries when I'm just sitting in front of the PC.

Everything sucks. I seriously can't even figure out a way to effectively vape. Boge cartos are all duds or taste like turkey bacon (I've had a few that are ok). Smoktech "Resurrectors" have been crap for months now since they changed the filler. The Vision clearos (long wick) I got are all terrible, taste like burning plastic and only work if you take 4 drags per hour, still giving them a chance though.

The only method I have left that works consistently is dripping. So I use a 306 atomizer that only last about a week for me as a chain vaper; I guess I should look into cleaning/restoring them. But $9 a week for an atty + juice is getting expensive. Oh well, just had to vent. I welcome any suggestions for cartos/clearos/tanks or atomizers. Maybe I'm just spoiled by direct dripping, I don't know.

BTW: ego Pass-thru has been one of my best vaping investments. Really prevents constant battery drain on my other devices that are constantly being charged/depleted when I'm at home.

I know how you feel zeth. Thats why i drip exclusively. Only thing is ive been using the same 510 cisco spec LR atty for months. They just dont die. Look into them.

www.avidvaper.com

I'm pretty content with dripping too. I've been using cisco spec 306 from avid for a while now, only because all the 510s I've tried were bad. Never tried the cisco 510 though, that'll be my next order. Just restocked on the 306.

Do you use the bridgeless? The 306 has a bridge and I know that and the wick are the main reasons it starts to taste burnt after a week or so. I've had no luck with removing the bridge myself. Just doesn't get much vapor.

And Backwoods Brew is closed this week! Got some stuff from Virgin Vapor to hold me off until they're back online.

After fiddling around with different cartos and tank systems (whoever designed those plastic ones that you pierce with the atty hates humans) I finally found a tank system that isn't terrible. The Vivi Nova 2.5 has so far been awesome for me. Easy to fill, no leaks, works great. When it does get halfway down you do kind of have to swish it around or it'll taste burnt, but that isn't terrible to do. Ordering a smok screwtank, or TITAN or whatever the hell they're calling it now too. Hopefully they work just as well. I'd definitely check one of those out if you haven't been able to find a clearo or tank system that's worked well for you.

I have no desire to smoke but I'm totally interested in grabbing one of these nicotine-free juices and giving some flavors a go. I have an oral fixation and love to chew on things like pencils and pens, so these seem like a great, safe, and fun alternative to sucking on plastic. I've smoked cigarettes socially before and have never really had that urge to smoke again but I did like how they felt. Maybe I'll grab some low nicotine ones. Sorry if I'm making light of an addiction, it's not my intention.

Anyone else do this and have success?

Hey GAF beware of a company called "Volcano Ecigs" I've ordered from them twice and both times I've gotten inferior products really awful tankomizers the first time and the second time I got a USB passthrough battery that works with half of my drip tips and carts but doesn't with the other half.

FYI all of my carts and tips work with other batteries. Both times I've filed tickets but ultimately been told "Deal with it, Bro." They are not replacing either.

Buyer beware.

Definitely trying Vivi Nova next. I have some Vision clearos which suck but I think they're basically a previous generation of the Nova. (these things are all rebranded by dozens of different people)

The atomizer might have an abnormally low resistance (happens sometimes, actual resistance is never really precise + crappy manufacturing). Pass thrus sometimes have a low voltage/amp limit which could stop it from firing. It really sucks that a lot of these products have terrible QA and it's the one of the reasons the majority of vendors have zero tolerance refund policies on certain things.

Yea, it's a new industry and all that. I get it. However, it's a combination of their products and shitty CS.

I'd much rather give my money to someone like AveJuice.com they deliver to me in 2 days and the one problem I had with them sending me the wrong strength juice was corrected immediately and Ben even sent me 2 or 3 free samples as well. All of their BOGE carts and atomizers have worked great too.

That's pretty much what I did. I didn't have a cig addiction but I enjoyed smoking from time to time. I'm now smoking ecigs for the flavours and because I enjoy smoking. I mostly smoke with no nicotine, but I have a few mild nicotine juices if I want a stronger throat hit. Look up the Ego Twist if you're interested, pretty much the best starting battery you can get. Don't get the cheap disposables.

Some good news for you guys.

The researchers found that smoking one tobacco cigarette led to significant acute myocardial dysfunction but electronic cigarettes had no acute adverse effects on cardiac function. Smoking a tobacco cigarette had important hemodynamic consequences, with significant increases in systolic and diastolic blood pressure and in heart rate. In contrast, electronic cigarettes produced only a slight elevation in diastolic blood pressure. Dr Farsalinos said: “This is an indication that although nicotine was present in the liquid used (11mg/ml), it is absorbed at a lower rate compared to regular cigarette smoking.”

I finally got the chance to refill my juices, got some nice flavors such apache, clovers, and strawberry. My craving got really bad a few days ago. I need that oral fixation.

I decided to knock down the nicotine level to low-strength for this batch of juices. There's a good chance I'll go with no nicotine next time, and see if I can kick the habit completely.

It feels wonderful not smoking real cigs though. I couldn't imagine prepping for a marathon while still smoking.

Just picked up some Havana Gold to go with my usual order of Blend 4 from AVE, and i like it. Its very similar to the Blend 4 but with more of a bite of spice. Tastes like the smell of a good cuban cigar.

@WhatRobEats - Hows that Backwoods Honey Flue? IMO their entire menu is good stuff, but Honey Flue is one of the 10 or so GREAT flavors from Backwoods Brew. =] Malty Toffee is still my fav BB juice.

@zeth - Did you like the Sweet Caroline from iVape? That and AVE Blend 4 are def my top 2 juices right now. Sweet Caroline was the first great flavor I discovered and its been in my top 2-3 juices for the past 3 years!

Hey, I haven't bought any juices in a long time (still finishing up Boba's Bounty and Gorilla Juice). But I'm wondering...does anyone's juice seem to lose flavor over time? All my juices from various vendors either lose flavor or it just gets weaker. It's very annoying. The first few days, maybe 1st week, new juices are amazing. But then after a couple weeks, the flavor is not as strong anymore. Anyone know of any vendors with potent flavors that don't become weak as easily? Mrs. T's Bakery seems to have flavors that last a nice length of time, I really love the bubble gum flavor.
