Please be 60fps. Please don't have a slow battle system due to the new graphics engine again.

Pumped to play this! And I haven't said that about a Pokemon game in a good while. (Even if I still play them anyway :p)

In keeping with tradition of past games, Generation 6 will most likely be "linked" with Generation 4 similar to 2 and 4 or 3 and 5. Hence all the French motifs. Be prepared for potentially shittier designs if they're channeling that.

My only disappointment is I expected a "Red and Blue available now in eShop" at the end of the presentation:( Still, can't wait!

3D visuals and new pokemon, my lofty wish list has been attained.
Though it looks like it's possibly going to be a mere Gen 2 and 4 style outing for the new pokemon, bah, well anyway Froakie is currently my boy but evolutions could change that, I need to see more new pokemon.

Worldwide release is great because now I don't need to be tempted to look up all the new pokemon come the Japan release and therefore can bring back the thrill of stumbling into the grass and finding a new pokemon, this might be what hypes me most of all.

Hm... after watching a video, I like the graphical style. through the trainer's animation while running through the city looks very rough. I'm happy to see that they actually went with cell shading for the Pokemon battles, rather than leaving them looking like plastic dolls. On the other hand, I wish they hadn't gone with SD designs for humans. Still, I guess that leaves something for the next Pokemon gen.

Chespin and Froakie are up there as far as starters go. So dope. Got a weird feeling Fennekin will have the best final evolution though.

Flying legendary was X? Looks like I'm getting X.

The thing that I noticed is that they didn't show artwork for the trainers yet, which they usually do at their reveals. Could this mean there will be an element of trainer customisation?

They showed sprites of both male and female trainers, and they both seemed to have the same outfits.

Looks good to me, nothing new from the look of the trailer, but at least the game finally has some visual flair to it.

Aside from the game looking like something made for N64, I guess its okay. I don't honestly see why Pokemon has to be 3D ( aside from it being on the 3DS, so they must have threeedeeee ) since it is still the same old Pokemon. At least the starters actually look cool this time around.

The megaton here is that the first version is the 'Blue' version and the second is the 'Red'. I always pick the 'Blue' version, but also the second one - my world is tearing apart.

God thing the always trusty water starter is super awesome as always.

I really need to finish SoulSilver and Black before I see too much of this and don't want anymore 2D Pokemon.

Also, 3DS 3Deemed?

I thought it was the other way around, Y is the horns, X is the bird's wings, and maybe like a split tail or something? Need to look at them again.

Made more sense to me too, but the wings are the Y and the legs of the Stag are the X.

Iwata knew how to play my nostalgia. Seeing the original Gameboy with Pokemon running again... Now I'm interested in the game again. Only played Red, Yellow and Diamond.

It's got a G/S and D/P vibe, true, but I think Game Freak's gotten good enough to get past generational trends more and more. We'll just have to wait and see.

Team Froakie for me right now—I might change to Fennekin in a bit, it depends. The starters are solid this time.

The poor bastards at Game Freak must never get any vacation time off. I tried to get out of it, but Nintendo may very well pull me back into the world of Pokemon.

I think the flying legendary was shaped more like a Y. And the four-legged legendary was shaped like an X.

OMG this absolutely delivered. Now I'll really have to buy a 3ds!

Graphics look great to me, but it's the whole feeling that gives this game a much needed change from the series staples - especially the battles. Also love all 3 starter designs and the legendaries (the stag is just beautiful).

Was not expecting to be this satisfied.
