Double battles are fine, but triples have to go. There's just too much going on in them.

Triples are pretty much another layer of fighting. And honestly Rotation is the one that should go.

Right. But being based on a real place does not make it a real place. There is no "pallet town" or "celadon city." However, the Eiffel tower only exists in one place, and that place is being depicted in this new game. So unless Nintendo is now cherry picking locations from the real world and splicing them together with their own fictional lands (which is fine), there is a possibility that they will pursue more realistic locations from this point on to try to integrate the series more closely into our lives.

One can go to Paris, France and say "I was here with my Nidoking before." Of course referring to being there in the game, but it still creates a memory, which strengthens the pervasiveness of the series in our minds. This means more return visits to the series and more return dollars to Nintendo.

See above (erm, the earlier embedded image) for the landmark that is actually in the game. I'm sure the region will have its own name (and name for the Eiffel Tower lookalike) and be based on France (probably Paris), just like BW was based on New York.

How is "using letters" running out of ideas? Are they dense that they don't know that only the metal and gems names lack "meaning"? All of the colors are important to the theme of the game, as well as X and Y.

Also to be quite honest some of the legendaries are really more like "once encounter" Pokemons.

I like the idea of being able to make your attacks affect your own second Pokemon and I guess they could play that out a bit more if 2v2 battles were the standard, but id rather not risk it

Catching Pokemon. Catching legendaries has always been terrible. Stun them false swipe until weak, spend next hr throwing ultra balls.
