Wu-Tang is for Asians and White People

and no i'm not talking ordinary cool white people, I'm talking about some crusty ass grungy looking hanson-brothers white people. and like white girls with cute face but when they start dancing it's like some god-damn barbra streisand concert

got back from ghostface concert. but i shouldn't call it that. because it was an hour long set with half an hour dedicated to wu-block garbage. the other half was wu-tang songs and some solo stuff from ghost.

did i mention the crowd already? half of them look like hanson-brothers. get a god damn haircut, and smelled like b o and beer. like 2 hot girls in the vicinity but they were too far to be worth a damn and clearly weren't having it with anybody and i don't blame em. the whole night was a pause-a-thon.

highlight was ghostface walking around the club later on talking to random people. i got a few words in and a dap. told him the single from twelve reasons to die sounded really nice. i wanted to say fuck u god but i got scared.

How was the crowd reacting to Wu Block. Didn't like the album but it has some tracks that seem like they'd really work live.

Carter III and Carter IV were good albums, even though I can't cosign Wayne's output and Wayne in general outside of those two in the same time period.

Carter IV is considerably weaker, but I wouldn't say it's bad.

I miss Wayne being the third best rapper in the Hot Boyz.

Ace should do an old school Cash Money mix. Everything up to G Code.

I don't follow this thread, so sorry if it's already been posted, but Cannibal Ox has started a kickstarter to make a follow up album to The Cold Vein.

I'm not really in the financial position to be donating money to anybody, but it would be awesome if this happened.

Edit: It was posted already posted a few days ago...

I wish too... But it's not gonna happen.

Also- starting my record collection- what standout albums/gems do I need?

At what point does Wayne become irrelevant? It seems like he could remain popular forever since each generation of the youth getting dumber correlates with him getting dumber due to the lean and pills. So you could have a 30yo, 21yo, and 14yo argue they remember when Wayne was great and be talking about completely different eras of his shitt music. 30yo would be talking about Carter I, 21yo about Carter II, 14yo about Carter III.

It's only a matter of time before ugly ass Ivy Carter is praising Carter VII as the greatest thing ever. It's so generationally demonic, my friends.

kamspy forgot about me

nah. I looked for you on Steam last night, and was gonna give it the full 24hrs til I gave it to Complex Shadow.

But in the end you both lost. My buddy IM'd me a Crysis 3 activation code, and I knew he didn't have Bio 1 on PC, so ya know. It had to go.

brb, jacking my ethernet cable off to try and speed up my download.

Crysis and new Nvidia GPUs always come around tax return season. I just pray I don't fall victim to the Titan's grasps after feasting on this kush. #EATING

I give out a decent number of Steam games on Gaf Hop though. You'll be number 1 next time I get a freebie or buy a bunch of obscure games I want to share during a sale.

can ox wants 30 thousand dollars.

huh.

it hurts me to say this, but ... i'm sorry guys. you can't have my money.
Pretty much this. If they reeeeeeaaallly wanted to make an album- make that shit for 1000 bux, throw it up on bandcamp- the ppl will come, at which point they will easily find funding for a physical release/tour.

yeah i wasn't a fan of the album either but it definitely worked pretty well live, response was good to it.

i was just salty that i hardly got any solo ghostface songs.

Saw ghost/Rae live at a hip hop festival last year. It was cool but I agree with all your points.

I think that hip hop needs to move forward with their live shows. I really wish ASAP, or even Danny Brown, would link up w a famous DJ and tour like that.

wasn't ASAP touring with araabmuzik?

I agree though it would be really nice to see danny brown tour with a trak since he's on his label anyways.
