Noctis perfume is a collection of Nomura's tears that were shed when he was told the company would be focusing on Lightning instead of Versus.

Personal favorite memory of mine was seeing/playing Kingdom Hearts for the first time, having my mind blown by the concept, the story and the production values. It was one of my first RPGs, too.

Uh uh, story time:

I got this game from my parents when I was about 12 years old, (in 2003) but it wasn't untill I was 15 years old that I managed to complete the game. After I finished it, I immediatly wanted to play the introduction melody on the piano. So I teached myself 'To Zanarkand' over the summer, before going to boarding school.

So whenever I play this song, either on the stereo, or on the piano, my mom always breaks out in tears because she remembers the year I was gone from home.

...Also, the game is awesome.

Best Playstation memory was playing Tomb Raider 2 with a friend non-stop for 12 hours. It was my first Playstation game, the game that actually brought me back to games after i have stopped playing for 5-6 years. It was also my first 3D game which at that time was something really incredible.Too bad they don't make games like that anymore, the last TR game was a joke. :(

One of my favourite themes in the game:

My man, Tomb Raider 2 is an exceptional game. Few games do the "temple filled with traps" thing so well. Temple of Xian is one of the most gruelling levels in any 3D platformer. And then it had crazy shit like the flying statues in the Floating Islands level. Amazing game all said, one of the first PS1 Classics I got from the PS Store.

Absolutely. One only needs to watch the later section of the Great Wall level to realize how much this game was infused with minute to minute action gameplay.
And this was only the first level in the game lol.

Their PS4 game is called Singularity right? And that video essentially shows the moment AI becomes sentient.

Seems possible...
I'm hoping man. Would be sweet.
You think we might see Cage on stage at E3 to show off Singularity? I'm not holding my breath on that one to be honest but would be a nice surprise.

I'm going to have to say my greatest memory is the memory that drew me to the Playstation brand. I was a very young teenager just starting high school.
Absolutely loved the hell out of my Mega Drive but unfortunately it had died on me. We were heading towards the end of the 16bit generation. There were the Super Nintendo CD add-on rumours, the Sega 32x and Mega CD were failing, the Jaguar and 3DO were being released but not available in Australia (they were also terrible consoles). Basically shit was hitting the fan to me in terms of consoles and I had no interest in the Sega Saturn or this no name console from Sony.

I turned to PC gaming and enjoyed many point n click adventures, Fatal Racing, Duke 3D and Quake. I also visited the arcades a lot and played many games there, especially Street Fighter Alpha.

Well one day in 95 my friend invited me over wanting to show me something. What he showed me was...

and also

I was freaking gob smacked seeing these games on my friends massive CRT TV.
So began a very long relationship with the Playstation brand, they brought me back to console gaming.

I missed several of these, so I thought I'd catch up. Sorry about the long post!

Okay guys, 10 Days to go. Thought I'd come up with a list of 10 topics (one per day) we can all post about until E3 gets here.

Pretty self explanatory, what is the hardest playstation game you ever played? :)

Which Playstation game has the best music/soundtrack?

Pick only 1 game.

This gen it's hard to pick between Journey, Nier and Valkyria Chronicles. However overall I'd say Chrono Cross by a mile. Not only would I call it my favourite soundtrack from a Playstation game, or even gaming in general. I'd go as far as to say it's my favourite collection of music from anything ever.

5 Days to go. We're almost there! Thought I'd come up with a list of 10 topics (one per day) we can all post about until E3 gets here.

Your favorite moment involving Playstation. Doesn't have to be related to a specific game. For example, my best memory:

Pick 1 moment/memory.

The whole scene when you escape from the Shinra Building and first get onto the World Map in FFVII. That sense of magic and wonder was amazing, and the beginning of something hugely important to my 'gaming career'. It's never been replicated since.

FFVII was the first RPG I had ever played, and led to me discovering a new genre that quickly superseded everything else in my eyes. FFVII is by no means my favourite game, or even my favourite RPG. But it's by far and away the most important game I've ever played, and that moment encapsulates it all

i had a ps1. i think i was in middle school where a group of guys were reading a gaming magazine and i saw some RPG. back then i didn't really follow gaming much so these terms were new to me. but i ended up filling my ps1 library with RPG, at least the ones i could fine.
The one game that got my cousin involved with ps1 was for Legend of Legaia. my mom ended up buying a ps1 + LoL for them. now that i think about it. i wonder how I managed to buy all these games. thanks to my mom it wouldn't have been possible <3

I was eight years old and had never had a console or gaming system at all in my life. Always saw them at friends' houses and stuff. Then one day on my birthday my parents bring home this big box labeled 'PlayStation'. I was so much in disbelief that I honestly thought they bought me a large chocolate bar in the shape of PlayStation 1. And I was hyped as shit for that! I tear through the package and lo and behold, a real life PS1. I died :p

Pick 1 moment/memory.
As kids, playing local multiplayer in Crash Bash on PS1 with my younger sister and brother and having LOADS of genuine fun! :)

Wow that XBone RAM thread is depressing..

I'm all for getting a cheeky "one up" on people who have different consoles to me, for the banter and all, but man... It's bleak.

As for Playstation memories - my first EVER game on a Playstation system was:

Boy was it bad.

Without question, seeing a family friend play Tomb Raider on his ps1.
Not only it got me to "rush out and buy" a PS1 (i was a kid, so this is a figure of speech, lol) but it also blew my mind and basically showed me how gaming was more than a random past time for me, like it had been, before that moment.
Dat open world nature, dat 3d graphics, dat swimming, dat Villa.

SSM's games is rumored to be open world. Well, assuming that this is their game and not another project that they're helping an indie or smaller developer with.
