Look at the video I posted above.
An animated GIF is no fun, if I go to the actual video for context.

I can't either. We had a rather quiet, orderly launched here in Sydney, at least at my JB Hifi. Although as I walked out with my PS4, one guy was eyeing me rather intensely for no reason. It kinda unnerved me a little bit that I walked a lot faster than usual after that.
"You're not my dad. Later."
"There's a security guard by the door. He's not fucking ordained by the city. My taxes don't pay his salary. He's not gonna fucking shoot me. LATER."
"That's why he sits by the food court; he is not a cop. La-ter. Later, dog."
"I wouldn't shop at a Cop Store."
" 'Hey, that's not cool, I'm gonna call real cops.' Alright, they'll be here in like 20 minutes. Later! LATER!"
"They can't do anything because they're not a cop or my dad. If my dad was working Loss Prevention and he's like, 'Now, son. Don't.' Then alright. I'll put it back. But very rarely would that happen because my dad doesn't work retail."
"I'm not paying for shit anymore."
Meanwhile in a little while they'll be available everywhere, and none of the launch games look particularly amazing anyway. People are weird :|
Obviously because of 8GB DDR5!
Since they are all filming some probably just don't give a shit and are doing it for the lulz. Of course if someone gets hurt they will have a problem...I'm sure that other people have said as much, but I am astounded that retailers would decided that a free-for-all stampede is the best way to sell a hot new item. What they've done here is borderline negligence. All it takes is for one person to get trampled or injured and a lawsuit will wipeout all of their profits. Is it that hard to have an organized line?
Why don't they just hand out tickets or something? These are multi-billion dollar companies, they are really gonna make it a 100 yard dash?
This just lacks a higher resolution source to match with the PS4.
has a crazy gunman attacked a black friday thing yet?

Did anyone get hurt? Christ.
I don't know if anyone's asked this yet, but are like, lines not allowed in Europe? If the crowd is there for a particular item, it's not hard to organize a line. The free for all is funny (if no one got hurt) but really stupid.
In Katowice's SATURN, yes. Few guys got crushed, twisted ankles and stuff..

I've been there, crazy shit..
Man I am so glad I preordered my console at a local EB games/GameStop in Canada right after E3
My launch experience was...
Wake up in the morning, eat breakfast, go for a jog, do some personal stuff, check GAF, then go out for lunch...
I later get a call from my cousin walking by the store telling me that the line had eased up and at around 2:30 in the afternoon go to my local EB games where the line was now gone... Chat with the clerks get my PS4 and go home
The most relaxing launch ever!
Edit: Also the funny thing is no hardware problems
Really? For a fucking video game console? Smh
Shit like this makes me sad for humanity.. weve turned into a bunch of mindless consumers. Where the deals really that good for people to be running like this?
lol, was that a playstation nun?
What?! When we do it, it's a sign of how all of america is a wasteland of fat and guns and slobs.
Can someone put blurred Media Markt or PS4 logo in the background behind the kid?
that kid in blue with the lettering on the back of his shirt must of been having multiple oh shit moments because if you keep an eye on him he is turned around and then crushed against the rest of the boxes. Lord knows how long that lasted before he finally got out of there.
What game is driving these people to sprint into a store and buy a PS4?

First guy who got there is an asshole, doesnt even grab a console just starts pushing people and consoles. Looks like he got crushed as well so lol at him.
That first snag was fucking CLEAN.
