They definitely should have shown a more interesting area besides just good ol' Earth lol. Showing gameplay from some other planet like Venus or Jupiter's icy moon Europa would've been pretty damn cool. Maybe they didn't have that too polished though.

Anyway, on which platform do you want a stable frame-rate ?
Will pick it up on PS4 if the framerate is stable.
I have no main platform to play my games. Sometimes I feel the urge to play it on a console and sometimes on my pc. At the moment I'm really into couch gaming. Another factor is what my friends will do.

But yes, the more I see it the less I care about it. Now it seems like just another game.
I hope not. Pure mp games are something I'd like to see more of.

It does look A LOT like Halo. And Mass Effect. But mostly Halo.

It was the first thought I had. Again this blur/vaseline filter similar to the one in KZSF/bioshock infinite/mass effect.
Good if you like very soft images, cartoon-ish artwork.
I just tried watching it again. The CRINGING... it won't stop.

These screenshots are not doing the game justice in my opinion. Looks so much better in motion from what I have seen.

I would have thought that since it's a cross gen game that the framerate would be much better, much like ACIV's constant 30fps on PS4. If it was next gen only then they would really be cranking the visuals up to eleven and the same old console drops to 25fps would happen.
The pictures are 720p though, which is odd.... Because they'd likely release upscaled or super sampled 1080p images anyway...
About the marketing, there's another 9 months until release, that's enough time to grow an entire baby, never mind a marketing campaign.

The largely uninspired gun design is still disappointing to me How can you derive so much from Borderlands and not take the personality they gave guns through the manufacturers into account?
I hope we can wield alien weapons like the pseudo-plasma rifle the Vex have though.

Why don't you show a little patience and faith in the developer you profusely claim to love?
Why do you say "claim" as if you're unconvinced he loves them or not? Does loving them make it impossible to feel they've bungled to unveiling of Destiny or something?

If I was completely apathetic to the situation I wouldn't be apprehensive about whether or not they mishandled the introduction to Destiny. I voiced my concerns because I care about the studio and the success of this game. A bit of tough love never hurt nobody...
As great as Bungie has been, no studio is infallible and I think they need to do a better job communicating what this game is about and why I should care for the reasons I outlined in my previous post.
Borderlands without the memes is what sells me on the game.
That and Gearbox isn't working on it.
And it seems more expansive, and no stolen art-style.
Visit the SEGA PC port thread. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance PC port took literally 4 people. 4 people! There are certainly enough PC gamers to warrant spending the money on a port for Destiny.

These screens show all that's wrong with revealing games in this day and age. "Oh it's going to be awesome trust us" I don't trust what I can't sniff for myself.

I'm not certain that PC players would be satisfied with a port. I know that the primary reason I buy multi-plat games on PC is for better and more extensive graphical options moreso than just kb/m. I'm also not certain Bungie would be happy with porting for the sake of porting (could be wrong).
In any case everything they've said points to them not wanting to work on a PC version for simultaneous launch.
