I love anything sci-fi but this hasn't really done anything for me yet. The E3 demo was pretty meh to me (awful commentary didn't help) so I hope to see something more interesting next E3.
I wonder why this isn't coming to pc, since activision likes to cover all bases usually.
It's the boring human area that's essentially a warehouse and crates.Something about this image in particular just screams "Bungie" to me.
Awesome post
Anyway, on which platform do you want a stable frame-rate ?
If the objective of those screenshots is to increase the desire for more then in my case they have succeeded in their objective.
Not the biggest fan of Bungie

That's fine, but do you have a point?
This thing is screaming let down all over it. I can't see how bungie makes this game a success. Everything they have shown looks so mediocre imo.
It'll devour Titanfall, even on just Microsoft platform sales.
But yes, the more I see it the less I care about it. Now it seems like just another game.
It does look A LOT like Halo. And Mass Effect. But mostly Halo.
This one right here... You could tell me that's Reach multiplayer and I would believe you.
why did they put the mass effect filter on these

Please have a stable framerate please have a stable framerate please have a stable framerate.
Worst thing that happens every time to those games.
Please have a stable framerate.
Amazing. Wonder if this will run at 1080p on either system? Looks like there is a lot going on there.
If you actually play Halo, you'd realize that it is nothing like Halo.
Which is why they absolutely announced Destiny too early. I realize that Destiny went through an unforeseen delay, but the marketing for this game can generously be described as poor.
There hasn't been one video truly explaining the vision of Destiny and getting fans exciting about what new things this game has to offer. I remember seeing the Halo Reach Forge World ViDoc and just being absolutely blown away by the ambition on display and all the possibilities.
How large is the game? How many worlds are there to explore? Is there any sort of space travel? How does the new implementations of networking functionality work exactly and how does it enhance the game? All answers to these questions have been vague and nebulous at best.
Bungie has said in various interviews that Destiny is the largest game they have ever created and the scope is unrivaled. Well, I'm not really seeing it?.... Instead I get shown the same barren wastelands and JJ Abrams filters time and again.
Trust me when I say this, I am the absolute biggest Bungie fan imaginable, I've been playing their games religiously since Myth - but I honestly feel very let down with the debut of Destiny and my excitement for this game is about half of what it was for even Reach or ODST (which is saying a lot). They simply have not done a good idea selling me on what this game is all about. Instead I'm left to make my own assumptions that it's some sort of bastardization of Halo, Borderlands and Mass Effect.
I want this game to succeed and deliver on the scope they are talking about, but I'm just not seeing it. (Sorry urk and crew, just being honest)
Love,
A huge Bungie fan.
Why don't you show a little patience and faith in the developer you profusely claim to love?

The setting itself reminds me of:
Bungie = fun gameplay, OK graphics.

I gotta say, I just don't get the hype. It looks like Halo to me. Nothing about it doesn't look like Halo.
My guess would be because it's coming to 360, PS3, XBone, and PS4. They probably feel like developing for PC (for launch) will stretch them too thin for relatively little gain since most current Bungie fans are console players anyways.
Visit the SEGA PC port thread. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance PC port took literally 4 people. 4 people! There are certainly enough PC gamers to warrant spending the money on a port for Destiny.
