They've been in the files for so long. Surprised they're finally here.
Yup, wasn't looking forward to this day. But for the most part they seem pretty balanced, with genuine pros & cons. Nothing too OP like some weapon variants are/were.

That counter UAV epic might be a bit annoying though.

The new SMG seems pretty lousy. What is up with that hip-spread? It's on-par if not worse than most assault rifles.

Well, the rigged care package sucks. That's a trick that works exactly once unless you are in a group that has multiple people using care packages.

It's cheap though, and its mere presence in the game may cause enemies to think twice before stealing the real thing.

I wonder if Engineer will tell you if a package is rigged...

The Wraith weekly contract is currently bugged. I did not get 50 keys when I completed it.

Edit: Nevermind, it comes as a Quartermaster hack that you have to open.

I own the season pass, and logged in tonight to see I have 41 unopened common supply drops. I may have never noticed before, but would this make sense?

If you've been getting the daily bonus and never opening your free common supply drops, then yeah, that makes sense. Expect a lot of junk though. I opened 13 Rares today and only one of them had an item that was higher than Rare in quality, and only one of the bonuses was higher than 15 salvage.

I swear they've made the odds even worse than before...

Oh, nice. I opened them all, and got some goodies..

- Epic Radiant taunt
- Legendary Speed Demon FTL helmet
- Epic RV-N Blowout
- Legendary Auger Bastion

RNG gonna RNG, I got 2 epic guns out of a Rare the other day ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Got a rare out of my quartermaster hack, and my epic was the DCM Masochist.

No legendaries or better from my boxes, fuck the triple play lol

Maybe it's just me but did they change the spawns on the DLC maps? It feels like they're really prone to spawning you in the same area even if it's on lock down by the enemy team.

Rare crates are now complete garbage for me. For my 10 out of the triple play, I received no new weapon variants. All were duplicates; and I have a lot of legendary and epic's left, not to mention almost the whole quarter master.

When I do get an epic draw from a crate, its a useless icon or something. I did receive the Mk2 flatline nv4 from my Mk2 guarantee which is nice.

I do like that the base version of the new weapons is available to season pass holders. The mini gun is fun as hell, even with teammates like these....

I like how the scorestreak variants are often throwbacks to previous streak rewards from previous games. Shock Sentry can become a SAM turret from BO1/MW3, while the Warden can become an Osprey Gunner from MW3.

Yep, the counter UAVs have similarities to the EMP from Modern Warfare 2 as well. One of them disables your HUD while the epic one destroys all killstreaks and equipment

First impressions with the Auger LMG:

The first 5 or so shots are surprisingly accurate, but then the recoil starts to kick in and it kinda wobbles all over, which is an issue at range. The annoying thing is that the gun has a surprisingly fast fire rate, but the start up time is very slow. The first 3~ shots come out slow compared to the rest and that can easily get you killed by faster firing weapons before you can get the rest of the shots going. Expect to do some pre-firing if you're facing any half decent players.

To mitigate this, it would have been nice if you could spool/spin the mini-gun by itself by holding down left trigger without firing the gun itself to start the spinning.

I haven't tried the Trencher yet, but it seems to have entirely vertical recoil, so it seems to be fairly easy to control in terms of recoil and accuracy.

The Auger is my new favorite LMG, at least for multiplayer. If you give it a grip and VMC sight (keep it zoomed in extra recoil stability) and maybe slap on long barrel, it can do some really good work at a range.

And I love being able to spray bullets everywhere. Sometimes I'll get stunned or flashbanged and I just hold down the trigger and go wild.

My class with it is loaded up with attachments (VMC, grip, extended mag, laser sight, long barrel) and two perks (Ghost and Gung-ho)

I really want that Rare variant. It's probably the best one at this juncture. The Epic one sounds fun, but until they un-nerf Akimbo it's going to keep sucking.

Yeah, I haven't unlocked the VMC sight for it yet, hopefully slapping that on, perhaps pairing it with Foregrip will help with the recoil.

Does it have better than average hipfire like the Mauler as well? The crosshairs seem small for an LMG, it could just be bad memory on my part though.

I'd say so, yeah. What really makes it killer for hipfire is the fire rate once it starts spinning up, in conjunction with having a decent three hit kill range.

So has anyone here attempted #YOLO mode? Specialist ended up being a pretty easy and enjoyable experience. But only 1 life is rough.

This week's hack is not bad. 1000 salvage for a legendary or better dupe protected pistol variant. Normally a legendary variant alone is 2000 salvage for the variant, but for the same price you can get two pistols of legendary or even epics that are dupe protected.

Unfortunately, it includes MKII pistols. I had every regular pistol except for the legendary and epic UDMs, but I bought 2 and ended up with MKIIs of weapons I already had. Such a waste...

Ugh, was afraid of that. That's the crap I dealt with when buying the big bundle.

For the Spaceland trophy of playing 30 games and last for 10 rounds, how long do you have to play each game? Can you just open and close the games?

How I figured out who the tryhard players typically are.

99.9% of the time, high K/D players:

1. Use Synaptic
2. Use Propulsion Trait/Rewind Payload
3. Use fast fire rate weapons, typically the KBAR to maximize weapon power to speed.
4. Take advantage of advanced movement, hence the use of Propulsion trait.
5. Optional: May use Scuf controller, will almost certainly have a headset, etc.

Since I haven't taken the time to use control schemes like Bumper Jumper, Stick and Move, etc. my use of advanced movement is usually not to the level of these players.

My way of countering these kinds of players the best way I can depends on the map, but I usually keep my distance and challenge from far away with an LMG. By doing so, the height advantage they may gain from boost jumping is reduced, while also significantly reducing the advantage of the KBAR. A gun like the RAW and the Titan absolutely shreds the KBAR at that distance. Easier to do this on open areas of maps and not indoors.

I really recommend bumper jumper tactical. It really changes the game for better imo.

Discovered two new Shaolin Shuffle tricks, pertaining to Deadeye Dewdrops.

So Deadeye Dewdrops is a buffed version of Deadeye Daiquiri from Treyarch's zombies. It makes you snap to zombie heads when you aim and it tightens your hip-spread, but it also removes all weapon recoil and increases damage the longer you are aimed down sight (there's a little red skull symbol that appears in the center of your screen when you've reached the max damage threshold, and your shots make special hitmarkers and the hit sound effect is a little more chunky.

The first trick is that you don't necessarily have to be aiming down sights to receive this bonus, you simply have to hold the button for aiming down sights, and your damage will still be increased. That means you can increase the damage of melee weapons and--with more difficultly--akimbo weapons, you just have to hold down the ADS button.

The second trick I don't understand as well, but I think I triggered it by dying while holding down ADS with the Deadeye Dewdrops bonus. I suspect it may only work in solo, since quick revives send you straight to the arcade instead of leaving you to linger on the ground. Basically, when came back and collected my weapons, I was getting the special hitmarkers and increased damage from Deadeye Dewdrops without having to aim down sights at all.

If exploitable, it seems like a pretty nifty way to boost your damage a bit. I'm not sure how much it boosts, but the double-packed Katana was able to continue killing in one hit up to round 43 or 44 (44 was an ammo round so I'm not sure if it stopped one-hitting then, but it definitely stopped at round 45), whereas it used to only go up to round 40. I think zombie health starts increasing in bigger jumps in the higher rounds though.

Did not like this in mp first, but it grows and now i like it way more then Blops 3.

Do you think a sale on the seasonpass is laying around the corner or will it take some time?

Any PS4 Hardpoint players out there wanna team up? I keep getting teamed up against sweats and parties with all the garbage tier idiots on my team. The team balancing in this game is a joke.

It amazes me how much this remake fails to remind me of rust. Sure its got the zig zag ramp, and sniper roost, but other than that, I'd swear it was a new map all together. The layout, lines of site, and paths don't ring a bell at all.

While nostalgia is cool and all, I have to say that its getting a little old having these remakes in every DLC. I can't think of a map I really want to see recreated in the future. Give me new content.

I can agree with that. Happened with Black Ops 3 as well.

1 Zombie Map + 3 New Maps + 1 Remake Map.

Only Advanced Warfare had 1 Zombie Map + 4 New Maps.

Though I wouldn't be surprised if WW2 goes to

1 Zombie Map + 3 New Maps + 1 Remake Map

And the the Remake maps 'demake' the maps to be for WW2.
