I'm surprised that Michael J. Anderson isn't in it at all :( I figured he'd have to appear at least once, even if just as a brief callback/fan service.

This was known real early that his character wouldn't be back. He was interested in returning if his character was.

Tim Roth and Trent Reznor are certainly interesting casting decisions. Berenice Marlohe though? Yum. Wouldn't be Twin Peaks without a nice bit of eye candy.

I just finished the show for the first time a few months ago. I thought Truman made a good straight man for Coop, but he wasn't as strong when he had to carry dramatic scenes like when

This means they must have filmed something with her after all. That's good to hear.

The lack of Michael J. Anderson (The Man from Another Place) is the most upsetting to me. I'm sure there are ways around it, but I just have dreamt of seeing Cooper and him together again, after all this time, with Sycamore Trees playing.

I'll keep hoping, until I see the final episode. This would be worth keeping secret, I think.

I haven't seen him in either. That's good to hear, though, thank you. I'm definitely not casting aspersions at any of these actors, and I really like Lillard as an actor. Those were just some names on the list that surprised me.

Seeing the full list brings a big dumb grin to my face :D

Nice to see The Giant (Carel Struycken) confirmed, bummer MJA didn't make the cut.

The female lead presence is strong with this one, Watts, Judd, Dern, Leigh, this show is gonna be a goddamn whirlwind of emotions once it airs. Has their been a (re) confirmation of when the series is dropping? So hoping for a bump from 2017 to later this year.

I do believe it was reported recently that they're gonna split it into two seasons, even better reason to show it earlier!

my boss was telling me recently that they may do even more episodes now? Or maybe it was they filmed so much that it might be split into two new seasons? I don't follow the new season too closely but it doesn't look like this was discussed here. Or maybe my boss is crazy and makes shit up.

They filmed * a lot*. They filmed for 140+ days. That's easily enough material for ~20 episodes.
