I was overcome by the Overwatch hype train but I dunno, doesn't seem like a big deal to me. Have less than half a dozen hours in it. Would rather play SMITE.
Maybe this is alot of people's first game with a selection of characters that have separate abilities I dunno.
I made it 6 seconds into that video...
Hmm. I need the answer to this as well. It's obviously a team effort. Those turrets need to go first since they'll shred anything attacking the shield. Reaper doesn't have that range on his Tele. He's not wrong. I'm still thinking about how to counter a 2 turret/shield blockade that was at the first chock point on the Anubis map. That match happened 2 days ago.
This game is vanilla WoW all over again.
So addictive...
So you don't play retail games?
in b4 neoxon.
I don't know anything about this Etika person, but isn't he the one who put his dick into Mewtwo or something?
I'll show myself out then.
Are you really implying that all retail games have microtransactions?
Are you really implying that all retail games have microtransactions?
He's not wrong..
Can't really call it the exception anymore. It's basically a standard 'feature' now.
Spoilers: he likes Overwatch and spent 40 on the microtransactions.
Is this the dude who just lost his shit when Cloud was announced in Smash?
Can't wait until they C&D the people still playing it a decade from now.
I couldn't listen through his Ebonics. I never understood why people talk like that in this day and age, (unless it is all a joke).
If you don't like first person shooters you probably won't like Overwatch.
If you don't like playing against other people, chances are you won't like Overwatch.
If cartoony art directions offends you, Overwatch won't do it for you.
If you are upset by there being microtransactions for something you can also get in a matter of one hour of playtime, eh, you do you. It's not like they force them on you or that they give you anything of advantage, but if that offends you chances are you will hate Overwatch and most modern games since almost all of them do microtransaction far more severely and worse than Overwatch does.
It may be addicting, but is it addictive?
It's OK and I have been having fun playing it.
My big issue is that it feels like a 2016 Little league game with everybody getting credit for kills and the way the end leader board is done. Whoo Hoo, everyone is a winner!
You're not going to find a lot of patience with people here on this matter, but I like to try to be constructive in all situations so I'll offer some advice and if you don't get banned it will be very helpful for you in the future. Have you ever noticed foreigners having trouble understanding an Irish person speaking with their accent and vernacular, especially when excited? That isn't exactly the speaker's problem, is it? They are who they are, they are what they are, they are from where they are from. If everyone was to conform to a "standard" of the most powerful nearby culture then Ireland would have stopped being Irish a long time ago.No, Ireland. Didn't realise it was an offensive term :/
Are you really implying that all retail games have microtransactions?
I played it (beta). I had my fill. He's wrong I tell ya.
Name a couple multiplayer shooters that don't have any kind of post-release, paid content for me.
Now of all those you just listed how many of them contain said post-release, paid content that isn't gameplay relevant in any way.
Lol I think that was all of us.Is this the dude who just lost his shit when Cloud was announced in Smash?
"i stared last night and was up till 5" *yeah whatever, 5am aint nuttin* "pm" yooooooooooooo
I must have Overwatch immunity because I got completely bored of the game by level 10.
I have no idea what the appeal of this game is.
It got great reviews, apparently sold tons of copies and people fiercely defend the game.
I gave it a few hours and it feels like the most shallow sandbox shoot'em up with only 2 tangible game modes and zero progression or gameplay customization.
Why am I not feeling this game? I'm starting to think there is something wrong with ME!
😞
Am I alone on this?
