We were never gonna get anything NSFW. This game was designed to be streamer-friendly. There are a ton of women and straight dudes playing it if Twitch is anything to go by.

User: Obscurasoft, will there be a patch to remove the censorship on our own steam copies of the game made available elswhere as other game devs are doing? I want the bonus art work but I also want the non-censored version of the game (I purchased the non-steam copy a couple years ago and LOVE it).
Obscurasoft: Most likely yes. Currently I'm trying to figure out the best method used by other games on Steam. Glad you've enjoyed it!

Whoah! The meeting with Brian in the park was actually hilarious.
Pokémon battle between dads and it's all bragging! Even had first gen style pixel art. Really neat.
Oh dang it, I had read a post quoting it earlier in this thread and I mistakenly thought it was about this game. Darn it.

Just finished my first route, Craig.
Sooooo, this game is alright, but it seems a bit underwhelming? Maybe some of the other routes are more satisfying.
Was that it? Them getting together was really sudden, they kissed twice at the end with no CGs, and then it was just over. Maybe it's because the characters already had history, but I felt like there was no relationship development like at all. I doubt I got a bad ending, since I cleared all three dates with an S rank.

The lack of intimate CG is disappointing though not unexpected, we'll get there eventually.
Is the game actually handling the whole thing seriously? I'm sure it's comedic anf light hearted but it doesn't just go full stupid and insulting does it?
A game actually being about being a gay single parent and the trials of that speaks to me in ways I can't even express. I really, really, really want one so for this to be good lol.

It's done well so far. I'm currently giving life advice to Amanda. Every dad has kids that play into how you relate to them and each has their own back story about how they're single dads.
You can make your dad however you want as well. Even trans if you like! It lets you pick if Amanda was the child of your dad and a wife or husband and then if she was conceived or adopted so there's all sorts of details there to cover lots of bases.
It's all wrapped up in colorful lighthearted humor and good intentions and it feel nice to play thought the mini games leave a little to be desired, haha
I've only watched a couple of streams but yeah, so far it's some light hearted fun. The relationship with the daughter is also done pretty well.

I like that it's possible to go straight for one Dad and finish the route in a couple hours or play the first two dates of everybody before locking you into a Dad.

route. Spoiler free thoughts, it's nice! The lack of CGs is certainly a negative, but the actual production values for everything else are good enough that I can't be too upset. The daughter (Amanda) is the best, and I'm actually surprisingly attached to the MC. It's also not too nsfw, which whilst isn't as hot, means that I can comfortably recommend this game to friends.
It's a lighthearted dating sim with a bit of... well, heart, and it accomplishes what it sets out to do. Just don't expect there to be anything on serious issues beyond just being a single father. (Or if there is stuff like that, I haven't come across it)

The minigames were nice as a change of pace, although I'd never recommend the game *for* the minigames. Brian being shirtless is a definite plus to his route, and his antics with the MC were amusing and endearing, which is all I can really ask for. I'd have liked the relationship bit to be developed a bit more post confession? But judging by the game structure I suspect that this is just going to be running criticism period. Oh well.

Yeah, I've finished Craig and Robert's routes and I have the exact same problem. It's like there's a whole second half to the story they didn't bother writing.
I've played for four hours. My thoughts so far:
-The character creator isn't great. Too few facial hair options (there's not even a nice goatee or a five o'clock shadow), too few face shapes, almost all of the eye options seem like joke/gimmick options and the irises look so dead compared to those of NPCs. And if I hadn't ended up choosing a beard that completely covers up the mouth, I'm sure I would have some complaining to do about the lip options, as well. EDIT: Oh, the nose options weren't great, either.
-Contrary to some comments I've previously seen (not on here but on other sites), you can actually choose whether Amanda's second parent was male or female and whether she's adopted or not so props to the devs for that!
-The writing is enjoyable and the characters are pretty cool for the most part. Some amusing jokes in there, as well.
-The art is nice to look at (although it's a bit unnerving that Craig's baby seems to never blink LOL) except for the player dad. I get that it's probably a limitation of having a player-created character but he just looks way rougher around the edges than any of the other characters and it can get a bit distracting.
-I've found one minor bug:
-There's a bit too much reading and too little interaction for my liking. Actual dialogue choices are a bit more sparse than I'd like (at least from what I've played so far) and having to read so much without getting to actively participate can get a bit tedious.
All in all I'm definitely enjoying it so far but there is room for improvement.

Loving what I played so far, I was pretty sure that it wouldn't be a porn game so I'm quite enjoying the jokes and dialogue instead (I've got coming out on top for the lewd CG's).
Pleasantly surprised at the different personalities, I gotta say I love them all so far. Sporty bro Dad is my least favorite, but the baby is cute so we'll see (I will try all the routes anyway). I love the music and voices, especially the Animal crossing-like music that plays sometimes. Gotta go to bed, but can't wait to see how the stories unfold.

Few more impressions so far:
-I like that I can be canonically bisexual. Being bi myself I do not get to do this often at all in make-your-character games. Major props.
-I like that you can get to know each Dad better by hanging out with them before making a commitment to one. I was initially only interested in trying one-two path but they all have personality and the interactions feel more believable than I expected them to from usual visual pick-your-smang novels.
-Music isn't super memorable so far but no track is bad either.
-Humor is top notch stuff.

Just finished Brian's route, loved it. I didn't try any other dates, wanted to do a "romantic" role play for the first play through as he was my favorite since the beginning. I'll go back to find a save before the third date and try the others stories.
The save system sucks a bit and could use some tuning. A way to name a save file or put it in a permanent slot would be useful instead of scrolling between the manual and auto saves that are hard to differentiate.
On QOL improvements, a way to scroll back or to view past dialogue would be nice too, as would a button to hide the text window ( standard VN features )
Although I would have loved a few more CG's, the dialogue is well written and the imagination does the rest. Gotta try the other endings too. I got straight S ranks for the 3 dates, but I guess if you score low you get a bad ending of sorts for each Dad ( not sure how many endings there are ?)

lock you to a bad ending with every character? Kinda sucks that such a early choice matters so much, but since you can fast forward it's not too big of a deal, I suppose.

I only had one ending so far - a good one - and I did what you said in the spoiler, so no (it doesn't lock you of good endings) Probably for that character, though seeing as he acted afterwards.
The ranks you get during dates are what decides of the ending(s) apparently.

Yeah, my gf has been having a blast playing it with her sister and telling me about it. Asked if I had to be gay or if I could just make a bunch of super close dad homies and she said you can, so I'm super down to play.
