A Fox News Poll released Wednesday shows that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Planned Parenthood, ObamaCare, and Vice President Mike Pence are all viewed more favorably than President Trump.

The poll of 1,008 registered voters was conducted March 12 to 14. It found that 43 percent approve and 51 percent disapprove of the job Trump is doing as president, with 30 percent strongly approving and 45 percent strongly disapproving. Respondents were also asked to say if they had a favorable or unfavorable opinion of several people, groups, and items, and Sanders came out on top, with 61 percent having a favorable reaction and 32 percent unfavorable, followed by Planned Parenthood (57 percent favorable, 32 percent unfavorable); ObamaCare (50 percent favorable, 47 percent unfavorable); and Pence (47 percent favorable, 43 percent unfavorable). Only 44 percent had a favorable view of Trump, while 53 percent had an unfavorable view.

At that town hall he did in the Trump county I later found out that after it was over he stayed and talked with people individually as they aired their grievances.

Bernie is pretty damn rad

The sample size whining found in every survey thread is tiring.

For example, with a sample size of 1,000 national adults, (derived using careful random selection procedures), the results are highly likely to be accurate within a margin of error of plus or minus three percentage points. Thus, if we find in a given poll that President Clinton's approval rating is 50%, the margin of error indicates that the true rating is very likely to be between 53% and 47%. It is very unlikely to be higher or lower than that.

Oh not this again guys. Bernie would never of won the general election against one of the most historically negatively polled candidates in presidential history.

Bernie didn't even have a message, unlike Hillary's "I'm With Her". And "Love Trumps Hate"

What's Bernie got? Something something income inequality and bad trade deals hurting the rust belt? Ptchui.

Wait what

1.) This is a very interesting poll. More evidence, I think, of the dog catching the car problem. Easy to hate Planned Parenthood when its not actually under the gun from the president

2.) Good fucking lord can we please not go through this "woulda won" yet again?

Surprised Fox would put up a poll that shows more people are baby killers. They need to up their crusade it looks like.

This is how stats work, 1,000+ is more than enough.

I gave up explaining statistics to people a long time ago. Even family members .. they just don't get .. or don't want to.

After explaining the mathematics it always ends with "yeah well, I personally know nobody that thinks like the poll, so it must be false"

I'm surprised how many don't teach basic statistics in high school. I remember first learning this back in middle school.

Stats seems to be a college thing. At least behavioral statistics. I didnt learn stats till junior year of college, and only because I was doing a psych major

As an American I can confirm I like all those things more than Trump. Even Pence who is a well known shithead.

Might have just been my school district then since we did student body stats every couple years.

Sanders is hardly surprising. but PP is to me. I'd have figured more people would have bought into the "state sponsored abortions BS". Huh, the more you know.

Bernie is kind of growing on me. I have some issues with him, particularly the worry that he somewhat represents left populism (though not nearly to the extreme or danger of right populism), but I feel like Bernie - or someone carrying his torch - could be the best way to survive 2018 and 2020.

There are many conservatives who view Bernie Sanders pretty favorably. From my experience of listening to republicans in my family or at work talk, they view him as a true believer liberal who is at least principled, unlike Clinton whom they viewed as a liar and not that liberal in the first place.

Not specifically gonna comment on what I think about that, but I've heard a number of people express the same sentiment.

I'm also surprised Obama isn't on there, ex president and all. I'd figure he'd be pretty popular right about now.

Do you guys think bernie would have won against Trump?
It's an unknown. How would him being openly an atheist and a socialist play with the public? How would he handle Trump in a debate? What dirt can the GOP dig up on him that no one knows or cares about right now?

I honestly can't think of a worse sincere campaign slogan than "I'm With Her". So fucking conceited.
