Says you.
I think for Americans, Youtube is currently shitty for everyone unless you have Google Fiber, your ISPs and Carriers are one of the most scummiest on earth, they are all battling for Google to pay more for bandwidth.
As an European, I can say my Youtube videos load from start to end in a few seconds, I haven't seen a buffering message since 2008/2009.

I'm talking about loading an entire video so you can skip to where you want without having to re-buffer/load which is what you have to do now. Basically youtube used to let you download the whole thing then watch it without problems now if I want to skip to a specific part it has to re-load, act glitchy sometimes I have to refresh, it's just annoying.
The comment section is now totally pointless as well, they got rid of the highest upvoted comments. And every other comment is now something like "saw this at work today, enjoy.'' meaning they posted it on google+ and it shows up on youtube comments. So half of them have nothing to do with the video it's just someone who posted it on their feed.
The extra features that actually improve things and give genuine new options have been good, but google continuously adds little annoying things that mar the experience. The amount of homepage/channel appearance changes, you can't see all comments unless you open a new link, the comments section itself, having youtube linked with google linked with gmail linked with g+ linked with everything universalized all over the internet so more data gimme more data always.
You can't post anywhere without it ending up somewhere else as well so the only option is to not use a user name. You can disable the google+ shit but not if you want to comment on videos. Then they ask for your phone number every time you login so they can have the data on there too it's like leave me the fuck alone already I said no.
I genuinely wish there was an alternative that just had the basic stuff, videos in HD, comments section, channels. I don't need anything else and that's essentially what twitch was/is. But nowadays there can be no other sites because now every youtube personality or channel people care about is on youtube and there's no reason for them to ever switch to something else because google owns or will soon own everything. That's how capitalism works, over time once you get past a certain point there's less competition, not more. Successful companies become more successful and monopolize. It's inevitable without government intervention.
