True. They did also reduce the number of best of 7 events for PAX too, now only the 3 finals. I'm fine either way but championship Sunday of HWC Finals 2016 had a lot of time before the finals so they could fit in a few more matches of a losers' bracket.

For PAX we are on a bit of a time crunch. We're starting about 90 minutes after the show floor opens that day which should allow for people to settle in, and unless it's all 3-0s and 4-0s, we're likely going up against the 6PM closing. What's awesome though is that if the show goes later than the 6PM close time, fans are allowed to stay and watch our show. Can't stay too long though, because the rest of PAX will begin breaking down which would be a big distraction.

Logistics will always play a factor, but we're thrilled to be doing double elimination again, and we've gotten great reaction of the players and fans as well.

Was there always going to be a pax invitational? Or is it only being done because Allegiance broke up?

Love everything about the pro league. They sure did listen to the fans. Hopefully more people get into the game, it's really good, especially now after all the content drops.

Understandable. Last PAX East with the HCS Season 1 Finals was great, looking forward to another great event Tashi!
