Miku Rhythm Games:
Thanks Kyonashi!

Well that sure is an OT subtitle

Probably won't have my game until early next week (thanks SEGA Europe), so I'll join you properly then

Fighting with my myself over whether I should get this now or not. I know I should do it for Miku, but I am still busy with Future Tone...
Would import on Vita. 60fps on PS4 is nice, but I prefer to have my rhythm games on a portable.

I don't know why I'm super eh on buying this. I love Miku, but I guess after Future Tone I'm not 0 to 100 yet. Maybe later on.

Can't really say I'm excited for this. I'll still get it and play it, though, since I do like a bunch of the songs.

you are making Miku sad

My Vita preorder is on its way and I've been listening to the soundtrack for a couple of months. The music selection has grown on me immensely.

Medleys have proven to be a great idea.

I ended up preordering a PS4 NA copy after having imported the Vita release way back in March. I was waiting for store exclusive bonuses to decide whether to also import, but they ended up just not doing any at all (a Project DIVA/mirai first).

I managed to miss the news about there being a system theme for PS4 JP preorders. I might have bit on that if I knew about it. Hope the theme comes out here for purchase or something.

While the forced progression through the quest mode is a bit of a bummer, it isn't that bad to just rush through for all but the Ultimate Medley. The game has a great song selection and some really fun charts, and while it can't beat Future Tone in sheer value, I still think it's a fun pickup.

Just sticking with my import Vita copy for now.

Will likely get the NA PS4 X somewhere down the line, but if I'm in the mood for miku I'm playing FT now.

Yeah, I'm kinda lukewarm on this. Future Tone was an insane amount of content, and Miku is my least favorite part of the Diva games, so I'm probably waiting on this.

My PS4 copy of the game arrived from BB on Saturday this past weekend, so after playing it for a while, I'm noticing some strange occurrences of what feel like occassional input lag related to the Star (scratch) notes. Essentially, I can hit numerous notes in succession with perfect timing and then randomly it'll act like I was a full second off therefore breaking my combo. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does, it's really frustrating. Now, I did calibrate and it feels nice and accurate, but this is really annoying so I'll be curious to hear if anyone else reports the same thing. For the record, I also have Future Tone and haven't experienced anything like this on that.

Are you using the analog sticks or the touchpad to trigger the scratch notes?

Do I ask what the subtitle is?

Apparently a shampoo commercial? Here's the commercial for the commercial.

I am looking forward to this... My Second miku game. I saw a copy of project mirai at walmart last week and I had a gift card I was looking to spend. For some reason I avoided miku games but just said meh and got it. Few songs later I stand up go to the computer and see when a new one is coming out. Now I wait for my beatbuy preorder pickup.

Also played demo yesterday... Loved the songs but the notes going from all directions is going to take time to get used to. Project mirai has the notes in a trail and it really helps me focus. I have no central vision in one eye so need to train my self (catching a ball took a while after losing it lol) or maybe not play on a big tv. Regardless I cant wait!

This is kind of how I feel. I was super hyped for this, but after putting a ton of time into the vast amount of content in Future Tone over the last couple months this feels kind of "meh" in comparison. Still, to my knowledge there isn't any song overlap. I've had it pre-ordered since it was announced, and will likely put some time into it, but I will likely jump back to Future Tone long before I've exhausted the content in Project Diva X.

Bought this despite complaints about the story mode. Actually I'm really excited since this is the first new Miku game I've played since Diva F 2nd. Ok I played Mirai but still it feels like forever.

I'll be sticking with my JP copy for the time being because I'm still salty over the European release, but I hope ny'all have fun with this. The tracklist isn't big but it's really consistently great.
except for Hajimete no Oto

Oh gosh, Classic, Elegant and Quirky taking the place of Neutral, Beauty and Chaos is going to be the end of me.

I just wished they would unlock at least hard from the get go. The home series needs an extra difficulty too

I also hope the eventual X2 has more songs.

i purchased project diva f for the vita when it is was on sale and didn't really like it because i hated the touch screen.

i heard project diva 2 has a option for stick so i started playing it in the past week. put in 10 hours already, it's so freakin fun.

i see myself really getting into this game

This is my first Miku game, and I've been loving it.

Well, the core gameplay. The core gameplay is great.

I... don't love the trappings.

If this sounds silly, sorry, but is this a rhythm game? Only reference I have is Elite Beat Agents on the DS!

Yeah I'm still feeling mixed on this. Future Tone's spoiled me so much for value and (imo) plays way better than any of the other Miku games I've played. Even though what I've heard of the tracklist is fantastic, going back to Miku games with less than 200 songs in them might be difficult. I also really don't like all the stuff in the way of playing the songs - the fact that all the songs are available from the get go in FT is one of my favourite things about it, after all. The story mode just does not appeal to me at all, and playing the japanese demo didn't do much to persuade me otherwise. Also, given how much time I spend in practice mode in FT I don't think I'd be able to overlook it not being in X very easily.

Then again, I just listened to Giga Remix and it's flawless... I just wish I could play it FT with better gameplay mechanics!

Is the OT for the JP release or the NA release? I was almost certain It was coming out in October in the states.

It's out tomorrow in NA and EU
Nobody ever said this was a Vita pouch. And why would a Vita pouch come with the PS4 version?
It doesn't have to be a Vita pouch to be able to fit a Vita.
Seems like a strange decision to make it smaller

like what am I supposed to use it for now
