Everything from Sabaton. Stormstroopers especially.

Korpiklaani - Vodka (The lyrics are just fun and really lighthearted. This one is perfect in hectic situations. It fuels my Adrenaline)

Niklas Johansson - Call of the North

Frank Klepacki (First to Last version) - Hell March 1

And every other piece from Frank Klepacki.

This goes without saying. The fact that you mentioned this is a clear sign that you are infiltrating our Democracy and Liberty by pretending to be one of us.

Tell me something. Do you love your planet?

Well?

Yes fellow helldiver

Got a short playlist together. On maps where shits gonna be busy as soon as you spawn, I start the game with " snap! The power! 8 minute Remix, progressing to faithless, insomnia (Rollo/sister bliss remix). Really gets the adrenaline flowing..love it.

played a couple Impossible difficulty missions yesterday with 2 randoms. first mission in, we saw 2 gunship factories near by in 2 directions. we moved towards one of them, hoping to get close without being detected. but nope, somehow we got spotted and the gunships starts flying. we were able to take care of them but was pin down by all the supporting forces. eventually was able to run in, set up a Hellbomb and blow up both of the towers. did a few other objectives and got to the 2nd gunship factory. this time, maybe due to the placement of the hellbomb, only 1 tower blown up, and in the end, we wasted too many reinforcement and failed the mission. but on to the next one.

this next mission,, we dropped right near one of those factory walker. luckily there's also an undetonated hellbomb near by too. we were able to lure it over and blow it up with the hellbomb. afterwards, I was able to run off to clear out some bot factories and finish some side objectives while the other 2 finish the main objectives. I was fighting off some bots when I died inside the evac zone along with my samples. got reinforced at the other side of the map so I just regroup with the others to finish the rest of the mission. then I went off to clear out the remaining light outposts while the other 2 head for evac, I told them no need to get the super sample from that rock, they're all at the evac zone. I was able to blow up the last bot outpost and head to evac with the Pelican landing in 30 seconds. but it's an emergency landing since we had used up all our time. Pelican landed, 20 second countdown, and one guy was still shooting the incoming bots until there's 4 seconds left from the Pelican take off before he hopped on. we finished the mission with every objective done, all outposts destroyed, and all super samples secured. was a great mission to finish before bed. :messenger_grinning_smiling:

I get a kick out of how you can reach basically a checkmate situation trying to board the ship at the extract against the bots lol. The pain:messenger_loudly_crying:, Loving the Jar Dominator and Breaker Incendiary buffs. Been switching between those two guns a lot post update.

Add the above song, it just fits during hectic situations. And yesterday this played while a blizzard started and we encountered a BIG group of Automatons. It gave my chills.

Basically anything from The Heavy fits this game perfectly.

Oh and of course Ride of the Valkyeries if you want a good laugh.

What's with this game always doing this cheesy Democracy message? It's like the game thinks it's presidential election time. Is it democracy surviving big hoards? Or democracy of animal farmed bugs breaking free from humans? From wiki:

Plot

Helldivers 2 is set a century after the triumph of "Super Earth", a self-described managed democracy, over the Cyborgs, Terminids, and The Illuminate during the events of the first game. It is discovered that, upon death, the Terminids produce a unique and highly valuable resource known as E-710. Farms are established on human-colonized worlds, but containment is eventually breached, releasing the bugs and causing chaos and destruction. Simultaneously, a new threat emerges in the form of the Automatons, a mechanical army intent on destroying humanity. The game begins with a recruitment video for the Helldivers, who are elite shock troops dropped from orbit to reclaim the colonized lands.[11] Environmental storytelling is prevalent throughout the game, with various logs, notes, and propaganda messages available for players to find during gameplay.[12] Players also contribute to the story of the game by playing. The in-game planet Malevalon Creek has become famous as a brutal world to fight on. The developers thusly rewarded players on April 1st with a customizable cape to honor those who fought on the planet.

It's almost like it’s making fun of a certain country.

full video of the new Warbond.

also, I tried out the toxic gas orbital last night. it's actually great on bug missions. super low cool down time (75 seconds) and lingers around a spot so it's perfect for bug breaches.

Definitely dig that Red and Black armor one(assuming that's the CE-07 Demolition Specialist).

I believe it’s because the Automatons are going to be replaced with a new enemy. Most people just fight the bugs.

So if it's like the first game we can actually win and lose the war, and whole map resets.

Like multiple times in Helldivers we wiped out the cyborgs, terminids and illuminates. Super earth thanks us and it resets.

On the flipside multiple times we have also lost the war and one of the enemy factions has claimed super earth.

So they won't be replaced, just temporarily defeated until the next reset. Also iv done nothing but fight the Automotons the last month, it's a different playstyle but it's super fun and satisfying, this is on Suicide Mission+ as well. Nothing like watching a hulk crumple after a single well placed AT shot, or watching a dropship spiral out of the sky and explode. The metallic crunch that confirms you got the kill on every bot is like nothing else.

What would be interesting with each reset is if they make the story progress differently for each iteration. I imagine there would be a huge uproar but it would be cool if stratagem unlocks are reset and for the first few weeks after a galaxy reset we start out with basic support weapons and sentries only because in the new scenario Super Earth is on the defensive. To get back air superiority Eagles become the next set unlocked. Once Super Earth itself is no longer directly threatened, Super Destroyers can aim their guns against a planet instead of hostile ships so we get orbitals.

With regards to the current patch:

-The Arc range nerfs balance it out a good bit. It’s still an excellent option for fighting light/medium armor at distances from 10-35m but there are actually situations where the medium MG is better now.
-The Diligence Counter Sniper is vastly improved. It has heavy, sluggish handling, but offers great capabilities vs. all flavors of Devastators and trash bot infantry. Always aim for the head.
-The Quasar is superb. While the EAT may have better DPS for short engagements (like fighting two Chargers), the Quasar has infinite ammo and no travel time so it is incredible vs. dropships.

Do you people on pc have noticed even small performance losses with the game installed? i heard that the rootkit anitcheat can worsen the performance of the pc so when i momentarily stopped playing the game i unistalled it.

But now i want to play again and i just want to know if it's better to unistall the game every time i wanna put it on the side.

It's not running when you're not using it. What is this nonsense?

Before the launch of the game i read in various places that the rootkit is aggressive enough to do random shit and lower performances, even if by a bit.

It's not a secret that a large part of the community was not ok with this type of anticheat, i doubt it was just mass histeria.

I'm just not sure about the loss of performance when the game is just installed but not in use, that's why i'm asking, i'm not really an expert with this stuff.

Unless you’re playing the game it doesn’t run. Secondly, I’m running it on an i7-8700k, GTX1080, with 16GB of RAM, it’s completely playable. One of my favorite games at the moment.

I keep logging in and getting 0 medals :(

I'm capped on everything currently, I kind of wish medals, samples and excess rec got turned into XP when you capped out. Especially with 150 levels and me needing 7500 exp per level now.
