Not even close to being anything as awesome as the Gamecube. I know, I had one.
It won't do so overnight, but it's on the right track.imo

I don't know why you're posting it either, not sure why an exclusive to 3rd party ratio has any bearing on anything.
Well, that's good for you, but I'm still not sure why those games not being on those platforms is a good thing. What about for consumers who like everything in one place, which there is arguably a lot of?
The very premise of this being a bad thing is saddening, really.

Bayonetta 2 + Bayonetta 1 remake is the closest thing you'll get from RE4/Remake. 101 to Viewtiful Joe. Wii U is still missing Wave Race, FZero, 1080°, Excite. Who knows if some of these won't be announced at some point? Apart from that, Wii U is definitely on its way to build a fantastic library. Nintendo games are quite stellar so far, and those coming are just as promising. No way. And I don think Wii U is going to build a Gamecube like library by barely selling and by having major releases severely few and far between, and by having nothing like a Resident Evil Remake, or, 4, something third party and huge.
Not even close to being anything as awesome as the Gamecube. I know, I had one. Also had NES, SNES, Gameboy, N64, DS, Wii. So I can say with confidence the Wii U is it's own unique thing, very much so not like anything that came before.

I agree with this. The Wii U library is shaping up to be something truly special. The GameCube is one of my favorite consoles of all time, and the Wii U could easily end up being up there with it.It is making a name for itself, whether or not it will be better than GC has yet to be seen, but it's on track to be as good if not better. It won't blow us away on the sale charts, but the games are nothing but quality which is what matters to me most as a consumer.
It has the best Pikmin, a better 3D Mario, and probably what will be the biggest update to Zelda since OoT. Donkey Kong was phenomenal and it has a nice little catalog of indie games, along with the best Mario Kart ever. Smash Bros. will be great and Kirby, Yoshi, and Platoon look promising.
If it gets a proper Metroid or StarFox I have no doubt it will be great. I don't have much faith for a new F-Zero, though. I cannot count one of the GOATS RE4, because it has been released on other consoles since. Even though the GC version will always have a special place in my heart.

Way.
RE4 sold more on PS2, there were great games on GC, but the Wii U's library as young as it is, seems on track to eclipse it.
Lol, outside of a handful of titles, the I don't think the GC is remembered particularly because of 3rd parties.
I see it charting high everywhere, gotta give credit where due. Nintendo knows how to push their own software.
Which is an absurdly amateurish error in statistical prediction.
I don't understand why this is a pie chart.. so out of 590million somethings sold (what exactly?) 490 are hardware and 100 are Mario Kart? Why is this a pie chart? Not to mention that there needs to be one hardware sold for every Mario Kart sold. Someone please enlighten me why they did this lol.
Edit: It's impossible (under normal circumstances) for the Mario Kart segment to take up more than 50% of the pie. The more I look at it the more interesting and bizarre it gets.
Wii hardware sales is the entire pie. It just shows how much millions of software of Mario Kart is sold and how big the attach rate is therefore. It's not meant for business statistics, just a funny graphic.
Business statistics or funny statistics, trust me, that "graph" doesn't classify as statistics at all....Wii hardware sales is the entire pie. So, MK8 sold faster than the biggest exclusive of Xbox One (so far) TITANFALL and sold faster than the biggest exclusive of PS4 (so far) Infamous...
Now I think Smash Brother Wii U will smash all exclusives of Xbox One & PS4 in this coming holiday season.
Wii U is saved~
Game is selling well but it isn't moving much Wii U hardware.
Too bad it will be outsold by single SKU of Destiny, Cod, AC, Battlefield
I know you were being sarcastic but still
Honestly, I am not sarcastic. From MK8, I really see there are chances that Smash Brother will sell faster than any exclusive of Xbox One and PS4 in this holiday season.
MK8 will at most sell 200k units.
I'm pretty sure that's trolling.

The thing is it may sell faster to existing user base but will it move a lot consoles that's the big question. For example MK8 won't make WiiU outsell PS4 and Xbone in May+June.
We only know that for Japan so far. It still managed to double sales there, but the whole market is collapsing. Head of Nintendo France, Stephane Bole, confirmed this morning in Lepoint.fr Wii U sales are 4X what they used to be since MK8, with Wii U now selling 20% of all systems sold, placing it still below PS4 but above xBox One.a shame it's done so little for the hardware itself.

Might as well ask it here.
Say I register MK8 to get the free game, do I need a Wii U to activate the free code or can I activate it online through a browser?
Love doesn't pay the bills. These commentators ought to go out and buy some software.Reading UK comments on this news from eurogamer.net, you can tell Wii U's image has changed massively. A year ago their was so much vitriol on any Wii U related news. Now it's all love. And by love, I mean LOVE.
