So instead of publisher-related issues, they are being held up with bug fixing across 5+ platforms and online modes?
If so....could they just have done the following instead?
-Release the game October on PS3, 360, PS4, X1, Wii U, PC without the online modes
-Release a patch with the online/MP modes early 2016 (Jan/Feb)
-Launch the handheld versions early 2016 (Feb/March)
That way you are releasing your game throughout a number of months and keeping Mighty No. 9 fresh in peoples heads a positive way (as the game would have been out, leading people to play it and judge the game based on itself, not Inafune being stupid).
Instead, they not only announce a delay to add all these modes but they with-hold the delay news in a attempt to make the Red Ash Kickstarter more successful (which didn't work, as they had to get a publisher to get funding for the project due to badly mishandling its Kickstarter campaign). Great move guys, you look even more shady now then you did before X(.
Still looking forward to playing Mighty No. 9 (as Gamexplain's videos on the E3 build was very positive
) but man, Inafune's projects keep getting more and more troubled due to bad management :l.
Hope Re:Core doesn't suffer from Inafune too, as I really want to see Armpature going back to doing great work on console games after finishing the Prime Trilogy (former Metroid Prime devs) years ago.
