If we don't get a guaranteed 6* banner when the Tsunade/Kabuto one ends, it'll be pretty telling. Japan has since received three separate guaranteed 6* banners, two within within a week of each other. If we get that, even if it's a bit late, I don't think people will mind.
If we don't get it at all, on the other hand...
I have no new characters to level. I can't evolve my Rock Lee, since his raid isn't happening, and I've already max'd my Sakura. I guess I'll finish off my WIS Kabuto when those dailies come around, but other than that...
I basically just log in and do a few Hard missions to raise my Ninja Rank, that's about it.
As mentioned, there's no Sugo-type event for this one. Of course, it could be added later on, but it's not currently available.
You can pull from the Running Start banner, which gives you access to the launch Naruto/Sasuke/Gaara/Kakashi characters, or try your luck with the advertised banner which (right now) has a rate up for Tsunade. All of the other 6* characters are available in this banner too, albeit at normal rates.
If you're going for something in-particular, I'd recommend a 6* and a healer (Kabuto). As for the 6*, all of them have their uses, but Tsunade is the current "must-have" (mostly because she has rounded stats and can function as both a healer and DPS). Rock Lee/Neji/Rasengan Naruto are up there too, as they're insanely powerful hitters. Rock Lee actually has over 2k ATK when he's max'd at 6*, which is why I want to evolve him so badly. If you pull from the Tsunade banner, I'd aim for one of the aforementioned 6*, but any 6* + healer should be fine.
It's a stupid decision by Bam. Why not just rotate LB material maps like they do scrolls and ramen?
Naruto anime is awesome. At least, most people will agree that it's awesome until it gets to a certain point, and then it goes into DBZ powerup mode. I enjoyed all of it myself, minus the filler crap, but can admit the first few arcs are the best.

I'm full into my rerolled account. First one has Kakashi/Sasuke, but this one has Sasuke/Kabuto, and I'm enjoying it a lot more, mostly for survivability.
Have enough stones for a multi but after being burned trying to get a healer (almost 3 multipulls, all F2P though), I'm definitely saving for a guaranteed 6-star

Maintenance complete, new summon banner up as well as (surprise surprise) bundle Sasuke. Namco Bandai/GREE needs to get that money from us!

Whatever the reason, it paints a very poor picture for me, as to the future of this game on Global. Isn't that always the case ? Dokkan is more popular in Japan surely and they always got the better rates/events.

Pretty happy with it since last PC I was struggling so hard against all of the Rock Lee's since I just didn't have any good skill units at all.
I mean due to the fact Japan has laws in place for gacha games, pretty much all of them will be more generous in Japan. They don't want to be putting up a 0.1% drop chance to get the best units, as no one would buy it outside of the mega-rich(or mega-addicted I guess).
Since they don't have to show rates here they can get away with a lot more. Lower rates means more money spent on trying to get stuff.

Yeah I don't know, it's weird. You'd think people would want a guaranteed chance at getting a top unit.
I mean catching up to Japan is maybe nice in some senses but not enough to stop getting good chances at getting good units. I don't really care enough that they're a few weeks ahead.
It's been true for nearly every gacha game, iirc. Keep in mind that it's very easy to play the Japanese versions of these games. Might make sense for some of you to go that route.
I just don't understand their thinking behind not doing a guaranteed banner. They would (i) get more people to spend money on pearls so they can get a guaranteed drop and (ii) make their playerbase happier and (iii) make their playerbase more invested in the game and more likely to stay. What's the downside... ?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. They're probably heavily-P2P, and they don't want other people easier access to nice units, as it would make their "accomplishments" feel lessened.
Regardless, I really hope Namco Bandai does something soon. My patience is running very thin right now.

Serious bummer here, spend money on sakura too waiting for the G6* pull.
My whole reason for re-rolling, was to start with a 6* and a healer. I finally accomplished that, purchased the bundle Sakura (since I've heard she was a great character), and had plans to wait patiently for the second and third guaranteed banners (that Japan received a while ago) before pulling again, to guarantee myself some new units to go with my account and so I'd have a base to build my account on. However, since we're not getting those guaranteed banners, I'm sitting on a surplus of pearls with no ability to spend them. I don't want to try my luck on the Running Start/Advertised banners, otherwise I'd be in the exact same situation I was in my first account (no pearls, and no team to play with).
Honestly, what really upsets me is how the only thing we're getting on-time, without a single delay, are the bundles. If they were accompanied with the guaranteed banners, it'd be a good thing (give people choice), but as it is, it just seems greedy. I guess the only way for me to get a 6* guarantee, isn't to wait for the banners we're entitled to, but to buy the bundles instead.
Yeah, it's strange. Namco Bandai aren't exactly new to gatcha games, you'd think they would know how things work by now (or should, anyway). It kind of makes me worry for the upcoming Sword Art Online game now, if this is how we're going to be treated.
I haven't given it a try yet (lack the units to do it), but yeah, it looks rough. I'l probably farm the B-Rank a few times for his drop.

Anyway, out of anger/frustration (and the game constantly barraging me with it every time I went to the Summon section), I did the three discounted multi-pulls that I wasn't going to do. I had Rock Lee and both Kabuto already from my re-roll, so at least I wasn't going to get dupes of those from this banner (since they're not included, aside from the WIS Kabuto). Out of the 3x multi-pulls, I got a handful of useful characters out of it though, which is surprising to me.

I would have been happy to receive a single new 6* out of it all, so the fact that I got two was nice. I got a decent amount of new characters too, and even got to Limit Break my Sakura, Tenten, and Hinata twice (thanks to dupes). I'm still just under 200 pearls, of which I'll be saving from here on out. At least I have a few new characters to work on now.

I was kind of hoping for Kakashi or Sasuke (the latter for Phantom Castle use), but I can't complain a whole lot. I'm just happy to have some new characters to work on now (including Limit Breaking, when the feature returns) while I wait for new content. At least it gives me something to work towards in-game.

I've found Naruto better than Sasuke for PC, for what it's worth. Put your Naruto first and challenge teams with Sasuke first and you'll never lose.

I'm not going to lie. A part of me pulling on the remaining discounted banners was just to get rid of it from my summon menu. It was always there every time I entered and, considering it (apparently) never expires, I knew I'd do it eventually. I might as well do it now, while I have a surplus of pearls and no characters to level.
I don't blame you for being apprehensive, though. I know I got (relatively) lucky with my pulls, getting two 6* characters out of it. That definitely isn't common, so your fear is definitely warranted.
Speaking of Dokkan Battle, I wonder if we'll ever get "Dokkenfest" characters for this game. Treasure Cruise has a similar thing (Legend characters), so I wonder if the same thing will carry over here. Assuming the game lives that long, that is.
Saving your pearls is never a bad idea! That's my current goal too.

Didnt know about this previous PC, but apparently if you are losing the next turn.
You can kill the app, and that lose will not count.
You will lose the orb but you will keep the winning streaks.
Winning streaks will give you more point for winning.

Any other hint/advice you can give me on how to score the most points during PC, would be appreciated. I didn't participate much the first time (I was out of city), and the second time my account was (more-or-less) inactive. :/

I've seen a bit of that Gaara (don't have him, unfortunately), and he seems great. All-Type damage reductions as his field-skill, and an AOE as his Secret Ninjitsu. I want him.
I'm tempted to buy the bundle Sasuke, just to have him for my collection. I haven't decided yet, though. He does seem like a pretty decent character for being "free", and the price isn't that bad. I know the bundle Sakura I purchased is getting a lot of use.
I do wish there was a way to lower the cost of these cards, aside from dupes though. It makes the bundle characters less appealing in a lot of ways, since if you don't buy all of the copies available during the (limited time) promotion, they're likely to stay at the higher cost forever (unless they either return again later, or they add another way to reduce cost).
Bundle Sasuke already has a bit of a reduced cost at 6*. It's 40 in comparison to the usual 49-51 or whatever.
I'll post more when the next PC rolls around, but I had a pretty good way of winning every PC match (my only loss last time was because time ran out). The gist of the strategy, which I'm sure others are employing, is to put my strongest unit in my leader spot (Naruto for me) and then challenge teams with the opposite element (almost always Sasuke led teams). Rest of my team was a healer (Kabuto) and whatever else was my strongest unit. In the fight itself I would then separate the fight into three battles of 1 v 1, but I would position Kabuto's opponent near enough to Naruto that Naruto would eventually tank them both, leaving Kabuto to heal without getting included in any opponent combos. Heals are OP in PC because of how HP scales for you and not your opponent. I would leave the 3rd fight one on one. Like I said, I won every fight this way. Not sure how the meta will change the next time with the introduction of these new strong characters.
It'll make more sense if I can post a video, which I will try to do next time.
If you are ever going to spend money on this game, then getting the free characters are, by far, the best time to do it (unless they do discounted pearls, I guess, but even then....). I think the free characters are pretty good and useful to use, especially if you are week in a particular element. At the same time, there will be other free characters, I'm sure, so if you aren't thrilled with Sasuke, then you can always wait a bit until the next one rolls around. My red team sucks, so I picked Sasuke up.
For what it's worth, and from what I understood, they were waiting for Apple to publish the new version to the App Store, and just held everyone back until it was there. Must have been some issue they found to lock everyone out for so long
EDIT: Did one multisummon, wound up with Kikashi. Now this account is identical to the one I threw away, save that I have Kabuto. Ah well, I'll still stick with it. Hopefully I can gather enough stones to summon again sometime soon

I did a multi-pull myself, and got Sasuke. He was new, and I wanted him for Phantom Castle, so I'm happy. I got a second WIS Kabuto from it too. I might just keep him around for healing shenanigans, for feed him to my primary one (haven't decided yet).
I have enough for do a few more of the multi-pulls, and I'd REALLY like Neji, but since I have Naruto, Gaara, and now Sasuke, the chance of a dupe is 60% for me. I might do one more, since dupes of characters are actually useful in this game, but no more than that.

You get 40 pearls for completely clearing Hard Mode (five per chapter). So, if you're determined, you can make it! Hell, you only need to clear 5/8!
There will (supposedly) be a second guaranteed 6* banner after this one, with Naruto/Sasuke/Gaara (these three again!?), as well as Haku and SKL Kakashi. Not the best banner, considering I'd already have the first three, so I'll probably pass on that one. If we do eventually get a third guaranteed banner, I'm hoping for some more recent characters on it.
Anyway, I decided to pass on my second guaranteed pull. As mentioned, I'd love Neji/Kakashi, but having 3/5 of the characters already, my chances aren't great.
Yeah, if you have 3/5, I'd definitely pass. You could try on part two, if you really want Sasuke. You'd then have a chance of Haku and Dodge Kakashi as well, assuming you don't have them.
My multi-pull was trash too, aside from Sasuke and the new Temari (SKL). So much bronze...

I'm currently farming the Lee raid. Two training weights down, three to go. It's not difficult, it just takes a lot of stalling. I'm running my 5* Lee/WIS Kabuto, 6* Sakura/SKL Kabuto, and a strong SKL friend. I basically stall with my two Kabuto/Sakura, while my friend character distracts Lee. My Lee OHKO's un-ideal characters with his jutsu that are in difficult positions. I can't wait to awaken him (finally), and get down to farming Limit-Breaking materials.
