It will also add ability to share written, vocal messages and 3D pictures (cool!), as well as a 3D video recording capability.
This is gonna be great but I'm really not looking forward to any inappropriate pics sent my way.

It's the one that adds in support for DLC, game demos, and eShop improvements, one of which is being able to download your purchases while in sleep mode.
Another eShop change we know about is going to be support for QR codes that instantly take you to the page for a particular game. So people can put up eShop links, effectively, for their titles online.
And don't forget it will include a StreetPass Mii Plaza update, that will add a second quest in Find Mii and several new puzzles in Puzzle Swap.It will also add ability to share written, vocal messages and 3D pictures (cool!), as well as a 3D video recording capability.

Wait, what? As far as I know, those features will be part of the free Swapnote app that will be downloadable in December, not part of the system update at the end of November. Hey guys, with the upcoming update and the 3D recording feature, do you think it would be possible to watch videos converted to the same format as the recorded ones? That would be pretty cool.
Ok, someone spoil me. How the hell do I solve the last puzzle in Escape Trick: Convenient Store. The one with the pins.
Oh probably december 31st thenNo, you're correct. The messaging stuff is with Swapnote, a free download in December.
I hope so, I'd love to watch some 3D avatar, no matter the screen size.
Not sure if it's been mentioned, but it looks like the firmware update is officially Dec. 8.
November 38th.
Find Mii II. Most excellent. Not sure if it's been mentioned, but it looks like the firmware update is officially Dec. 8.
November 38th.
Well, if there were a Nov. 38th, that sure would be something. If you're referring to the date listed at the top of the page -- Nov. 28 -- that's the date the press blurb was posted. Feel free to read the actual press statement.
Actually it was a joke about the update coming by the end of November.
I wonder when we're getting 10 free gba games?
I'm not sure how he missed that, but I laughed.
We have no idea what video format Nintendo is gonna use. If it's a standard (like 3GP), it should be possible.Hey guys, with the upcoming update and the 3D recording feature, do you think it would be possible to watch porn converted to the same format as the recorded ones? I could see Japan using November 38th though. Kind of like how they use times such as 25:30.Actually it was a joke about the update coming by the end of November.
I would be very surprised if there wasn't a fairly small limit on recorded video that can be viewed.
It's the Internet. I don't give people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to intelligence, sorry.
nope, joke just flew over your head, you don't get the benefit of the doubt either...

However, there's the odd chance they might be using some strange licensed format. I think it's unlikely, since there aren't that many video formats out there which can be encoded in realtime by a ~266MHz ARM CPU.
In Germany there were only available at gamestop at the beginning (don't know if it is still so for sure)
BTW guys, any news on the GBA games?
Nintendo 3DS System Update Information
November 28,2011
The upcoming Nintendo 3DS system update is in the final stages of internal testing and will be available by December 8. We will provide an additional update once the system update is officially available.
This system update includes the following features:
3D video recording via the Nintendo 3DS Camera
New game content in StreetPass Mii Plaza, including Find Mii II
Transfer of downloaded software and data between Nintendo 3DS systems
I wouldn't classify that as "bad."
You got me with the porn thing lol
BTW guys, any news on the GBA games?
You have a nice avatar from a nice game, so all is forgiven.
So, the first 3DS retail game demo is here (for Japanese version only).
Demo of MH3G is available on Japan e-shop soon

It seems odd they go out of thier way to emulate bad things like ghosting (or a toned down version anyway) yet these good parts are not a prioity.Metroid II on the eShop had me break out the SP and give it a whirl.
The 'Super Game Boy' palettes they added to a number of Game Boy games really bring new life into the titles. It's a shame it's not a feature on eShop games. :/
I've seen them in the local MediaMarkt too.ReWe markets have them as well (it's a big grocery store chain).
Oh my god. I mean Oh My God.
So I loved Donkey Kong '94 when I was a kid, and I downloaded it recently to relive my nostalgia. Then I suddenly realised, it's still a bloody damn fine game today and more than holds its own against modern gaming.
Seriously. The controls are perfect. The level designs are ingenious. Every few levels a fresh new idea comes along and shifts everything around. The graphics are crisp and clear and cute, especially the little animations Mario and Donkey Kong have. The music is hip and jazzy. But the best thing is, the game really suits handheld pick-up-and-play gameplay habits. The levels are just small enough to play at any time, but they prove to be just enough of a headscratcher that you get a smug sense of accomplishment when you clear a stage. And to top it off, the game is absolutely packed with stages.
I'm sorry for gushing, I'm just really glad that I've had something to really drag me away from pretty little wallpapers that pass for games on the iPhone (I'm looking at you, Tiny Tower!) If you haven't got the game yet, I seriously suggest picking it up. It's well worth the piddly couple of quid it costs. Definitely one of the Game Boy's finest games ever. The only downside is that you can't play it with the Super Game Boy borders and colours, but that is just a superficial thing obviously - the game suffers nil from its absence.
