If she ever got fucking real she'd drop out. 'Real' and her are long since divorced.

Her new tact is trying to appeal to the common worker, talking about the working the night shift and all that bullshit. But the unions are supporting Obama. Hmmm.

Didn't he pick up 7 more unions today with 5mil members total :lol?

He could have been a Supreme Court Clerk and then had his pick of any job in the country as an attorney.
As noble as his choice was, I'd say it worked out quite well for him. Now he's going to be fucking President of the United States. :lol

Not really, at least in terms of difficulty (Chicago has no grade inflation), but that's a debate for another day. Or, better yet, never! Gobama!

The rankings aren't really important when you're talking about teaching at elite law schools--people just go wherever fits them best (see: Scalia and Stevens at Chicago). To even become a law professor anywhere you have to be the absolute best of the best. And to be a prof at an elite law school like Chicago you pretty much have to be Easterbrook, Posner, etc.--among the absolute, undeniable sharpest legal minds in the world.

Uhhhh.... Lou Dobbs basically explained Obama just now with his answer to "What do Independents want in a candidate" yet he hates him :lol

Whatever, AstroLad.

We all know that Obama is a silver tongued trickster who learned all of his policy positions phonetically.

Well, that was quick.

Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich (D-Ohio), whose presidential and congressional campaign accounts were nearly empty at the beginning of the year, has quickly reloaded his coffers in preparation for a tough primary next month to hold on to his Cleveland-based congressional seat.

Within the past seven weeks, Kucinich’s campaign has raised more than $689,000 — nearly all of it from individual donors throughout the country. That’s one of the highest one-month hauls of any congressional candidate this cycle, and it is all the more notable because his campaign account was nearly empty at the end of last year. (Indeed, his critics might point out that the lion’s share of donors come from out-of-district, out-of Ohio contributors.)

Kucinich now has $329,808 cash on hand, well more than the $13,000 he started with at the beginning of the year.

Kucinich is facing a vigorous challenge from Cleveland City Councilor Joe Cimperman, who has accused Kucinich of being an ineffective congressman and neglecting the needs of his constituents. He has already been up on the airwaves with a clever ad campaign reinforcing those themes.

During the same period, Cimperman raised $257,770 and now has $215,463 remaining in his campaign account before the March 4 primary.

Three other Democrats are challenging Kucinich in the primary and have not shown significant fundraising strength, but they could dilute Cimperman’s share of the anti-Kucinich vote.

just got an email from obama campaign. wtf, has this been discussed already? (the bolded part)

Frank --

Make a matching donationNews broke yesterday that a few wealthy Clinton supporters are gearing up for a massive spending campaign to boost her chances in the big upcoming contests in Texas and Ohio on March 4th.

The so-called "American Leadership Project" will take unlimited contributions from individuals and is organized the same way as the infamous Swift Boat Veterans for Truth.

ABC News reports that this group is seeking 100 Clinton supporters to each give $100,000 to fund its $10 million effort to promote Senator Clinton and "contrast" her positions with Barack Obama's.

That's the opposite of how politics should work, and the opposite of how Barack Obama has run this campaign.

The same day this group's activity was revealed, we announced that nearly 1 million individual people have donated to this campaign.

Stand up against politics-as-usual. Be one of the million supporters who are calling out for change.

If you give as part of our matching program, your gift will be doubled by a previous donor. You can even choose to exchange a note with them about why you are part of this movement.

Make your matching donation now:

https://donate.barackobama.com/match

Groups like this are forbidden from working primarily for the purpose of electing or defeating a candidate.

Yet here we have a committee that springs up on the eve of an election, promotes a specific candidate, and has no history or apparent purpose of lobbying specific issues outside the benefit to the candidate of these communications.

...

how the hell is that legal? im only allowed to donate up to $2,300...what makes them different?

Is there ANYBODY Hillary can trot out within the next week and a half that'll shift momentum away from Obama over to her camp?

The only 2 names we could come up with were Al Gore & maybe Michael Bloomberg.

SIDENOTE: Ron Paul supporters are STILL putting up signs all over washington state.

Yup, it's a 527. I just don't see how their commercial can be construed as anything but a blatant advocacy for Hillary. The whole 527 angle is pretty dirty.

Because McCain-Feingold didn't do much to restrict the free speech of non-profit PACs, think tanks, unions, etc. So by giving your money to a third party, they can do the dirty work for you.

The only smell test in the law is that the group's primary purpose can't be to elect a person.

He very well could be after his two terms as POTUS. Wasn't someone else a President and then a SC Justice?

President Taft went from being the President to later become the 10th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. He also had a huge mustache
