Where were you guys when MS bragged about the digital only future and gaf went on a frenzy against it? If there is a cart version anywhere, I rather buy it. Did that for DBZ: BOZ and still doing that. My money, my collection, my rules.

There's a difference between digital games and daily DRM that will lock you out of your games if you don't have an internet connection

I've actually had my eye on this case for a while now. Since you have it, I have a quick question for ya. Will a Vita with basic grips fit in the case as is or would the grips need to be removed?

You will need to remove the grips. I do not own a set of grips, so I do not know how large they would be in comparison to the case itself. If they aren't *too* much larger than the actual Vita, then you may be able to position them in a way, with the charging cables in their pouch in a specific way, but I do not know for sure...sorry Aside from that though, I love the case because of it holding everything I need for my vita - 23 games, 2 mem cards, charging cables, battery pack, and features inner removable case when you need a smaller solution. It's not hard plastic, but it's not soft either. I've dropped the whole case, and even the smaller case, and my Vita has been perfect each time. I do NOT recommend playing baketball with the case though, that might be a little too extreme with it

I actually never got around to playing the beta. Hopefully they've fixed the issues for the final release.

I just finished and platinum'd my first Vita games: Gravity Rush, VLR and Tearaway. Loved them, really amazing games. Tearaway in particular is mind-blowingly good considering how few people worked on the game.

Now to decide what to buy next.

Nice!!! Congrats! Gravity Rush was my first Plat, followed by Unit 13. Got SSD to 100%, but no plat. Working on Tearaway and NFS: MW now. Games to get - Hot Shots Golf World Invitational, Wipeout 2048, Shinobido 2. I'm a launch game enthusiast And all 3 of those will take you a whiiiile to Plat, if you are up for a challenge.

Just a note on this. If you buy a 'galaxy tab' USB converter from ebay for almost nothing, you can use that to convert your Vita cable into one that will charge from any USB socket. So you can use any portable battery chargers or mains chargers. I have one permanently attached to my vita cable in my backpack so I can charge anywhere - and a third party battery pack.

That is awesome...thanks for the tip! I'll definitely check it out. I just had to get a new car (thanks to someone deciding to redesign the back of mine with their car), and I have a USB port in it. That'd save me from picking up a car charger, one of the only things I have been wanting, but never had a desire to get. That, and the official stand, but I am getting closer to pulling that proverbial trigger on the stand.

Yeah, the biggest thing was the DRM. I'm going digital-only with the Vita since launch, so I just got used to it (also, avoiding import fees blah blah).

I do get people who want physical releases, but not so much when people completely avoid digital-only games (not sure if you're like this, of course). They could be missing some great time.

There are different forms of DRM, it's not all the same like Microsofts astroturfers wanted to push it through ('bu-but it's like Steam').

And just being able to localize and publish a niche game with a digital only release is just a different kind of beast.

Yep, when you know what it is for the icon make a little sense I suppose. But when you don't it isn't self-explanatory at all.

That...is beautiful....I recently bought a second )white) OLED Vita because I loved the look of it so much. That one though...my glob it looks just gorgeous. When I finally do get a 2K model, it will almost certainly be THAT version. Nice grab!

Too lazy to quote everyone about the shopping bag. But I know the answer! It was on Toukiden, also. Like some have said, it is for importing save data from the demo version of the game. Or perhaps from another game, but I do not know many (if any) games that can use OTHER games saves for some data.

What do you guys think? I was gonna wait for the slim and sell BL2 for $40. But shit, I can't take it anymore!

Get the slim, it counts as a new sold Vita, is reportedly better and you don't have to touch a dirty second hand handheld. You never know where the former owners hands were before, just like that guy who bought that porno VIta

Really depends on you position about dat oled.
While the Vita 1000 has a superb screen I'm more and more tempted to go 2000 and forget the burn-in risks.

congrats-and welcome! I recommend Tearaway-but other than that you are in great shape for getting acquainted with your new device- ps+ will fill your (and my) memory card in no time

Ordered an all white Vita 2000 from Amazon.com today. It'll arrive tomorrow, but I already wish I had ordered the Black/Khaki model instead and it is too late to cancel the order.

Tearaway is amazing and I loved Gravity Rush even if some mechanics need to be improved in the sequels. I still have to play VLR but I'm afraid I won't be able to get it since I didn't played 999. Don't have an iOS device and I don't know if i'll be able to go back to my DS Lite.

Honestly, 999 is not required at all in order to play VLR, there is literally nothing that you have to know about 999 that isn't explained in VLR and it's also barely referenced.
Don't get me wrong, 999 is great and you should definitely play it (not the iOS version, though) but if you don't you can still enjoy VLR to the fullest.

Killzone and P4G are a no-no considering I hate shooters and english dubs in jrpgs and I actually downloaded the HSG demo but I didn't try it yet.
At this moment I'm mostly insterested in Danganronpa (I already played on the PSP so it's not a priority), Ys, Deception IV, Muramasa and Project Diva but they're still kinda pricey and I might have to import the last two since they have no physical release here.

How's Little King's Story by the way?
