I've been thinking, and maybe it's been said before: I wonder if the reason we're seeing such great delays to bringing Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing over West is because the majority of Nintendo's localization teams are putting most of their work towards translating X and Y to achieve a worldwide release. Just a thought...
Aren't most Pokemon launches spring in Japan and fall internationally, to tie into the new school year? This smells less like a rush launch for the rest of the world and more like Nintendo turning a slipped schedule into good PR.
