Make sure you are selecting brawl with friends and not with everyone.

Also people you add to your friends list, they also have to add you as well.

Ah, so you're who TIE was. :D Figured it'd be a GAFer, since everybody involved in that match was really good, and practically on the same level.

Haha, good games all around. Me and Nabil were fucking around with you to see if you would catch the hint and throw it into team battle Kiryogi. Looks like it didn't work though. ;)

I was "!" in case anyone was wondering. Wondering what the hell happened that last match though. I was scared that my Wii died there for a second.

Though I'm pretty sure no-one is gonna take me up on this I thought I would throw it out there. If anyone would like to have their match recorded, I'm available to do so . The only rule is that it must be a stock match so I can record the footage and not be involved (for example if the stock is 1 I would suicide upon the beginning of the match and continue recording). So If anyone is interested give me a holler.

So, recently I was playing in another SSBB tournament. The prize was 2000 Wii Points, and I won them. But here's the thing: I only had three opponents--and I actually only had to play two of them, because I had connection issues with the second person and it was decided to give me the win. (After I won the final, I went ahead and told the second match guy that I'd buy him a game up to 800 points since we couldn't know who caused the problems, but he graciously declined.) So, yeah. I won 2000 points for winning against two people. ^^; Not that I'm complaining, mind you, but it's just kind of funny when a person would have to win a bare minimum of six times to get a prize in the current tournament. (Assuming no opponent forfeits, etc.)

This has all gotten me to thinking that if I ever run a GAF Smash tournament, which I might (I really do want to make that gimmick Reverse Discrimination Tourney* >_>), I think I'll get everybody to pay like a dollar or two (or equivalent in other currencies) to enter so that the prizes can grow with the tournament itself. But would that have to be an honor system (along with assumptions that whoever holds the money doesn't get hospitalized or whatever) or is there some kind of sponsoring company that could hold the money as a neutral third-party?



*No male humanoids allowed; goodbye to Mario, Link, Fox, Ness, Marth, Luigi, Captain Falcon, Ganondorf, Falco, Mr. Game & Watch, Toon Link, Pit, Wario, Snake, Ike, Lucas, Sonic, Olimar, and Wolf. (I'm still thinking about Lucario.)
