I thought Whitney Houston's The Bodyguard soundtrack was number one. I mean, sure, it wasn't "Whitney Houston studio album", but it didn't sell 44 million because it had Kenny G and Joe Cocker on it.

I much prefer The Very Best of Mariah Carey. She clearly had no input on the tracklist you posted, since she hates "I Don't Wanna Cry" and would probably have chosen the Bad Boy Fantasy remix over the original version.

But maybe I'm biased. "Outside" + "Underneath the Stars" + "I Am Free" on the same disk is just too much greatness.

I'd like an amalgamation of the two. There's songs like those that you mentioned that I would like on it, and there's also songs on the first disk that I'd really miss. Mostly ATYNF C&C Remix, though.

And I prefer the original; the added rap verse does absolutely nothing for me.

And Mariah can have a seat about I Don't Wanna Cry; it's a great vocal.
