The show hasn't been particularly great for multiple seasons now but I've been even less impressed this season. Too much reliance on the shitty acting of athletes (Cutler wasn't too bad in his defense). It just isn't very funny.

The fact that last night's Sunny was so f'ing good just made this look even worse. The gulf is huge.

A few thoughts

• Jay Cutler is a bad actor. Maybe they should have had him play an asshole and then he wouldn't come across as being as stiff as a board. Pretty much every other guest NFL star has shown charisma that Cutler lacks.
• I liked Pete and Taco showing doing their best to take it easy on Andre. After what they just did to him, they should all take it easy on the poor guy for an episode at least. Of course, Andre proceeded to put his foot in his mouth to great effect, but it was of his own doing in this episode so it's fine.
• Callback to the breast milk incident. Good to see that come back to bite Jenny specifically and Kevin in ass.

They always filmed before the season started. They fill in the gaps. It just seems like this year they scarped most football talk and doing everything else.

I thought you guys were joking at first but I guess not. I wasn't a fan of that episode at all. I laughed two or three times, sure, but overall it felt forced and was completely unrelated to the rest of the show. Just felt like a complete unnecessary departure.

Best parts of the episode involved Kevin/Jenny/Pete/rest of the group. I wonder why.

How's S5 so far? I finished marathoning the first four seasons on Netflix about a week ago, and I loved it. FX has the best overall comedy lineup IMO. Glad the show's been renewed for S6 already.

I was really looking forward to this episode, but I ended up not liking it as much as I thought I would. It had some funny parts but overall it seemed less funny than a normal episode. Rafi and Dirty Randy with their porn friends and them with the porn kingpin were the best parts.

Rafi better not be dead! I'm also bummed about Spaz(Jorma), I was hoping to see more of him and Rafi's league.

I'm not a fan of Rogen and that was still one of he best episodes of the series. Randy and Rafi are fun duo to see watch together. Their misadventure in LA was an enjoyable side story. Let's hope that ending was just a twisted porno ending or that means we've got another year of Rafi left on the show.
