To be a fan of FXX’s The League, you don't need to know much about fantasy football, or sports at all. You just need to have friends that you hate. The ensemble comedy follows a group of old friends in a fantasy football league who care deeply about one another - so deeply that they use every opportunity to make each other's lives miserable.

The show has already been renewed for a sixth season.

Episode 1: The Bachelor Draft, Sept 4th.
The League travels to Los Angeles for Andre and Trixie's destination wedding. Ruxin refuses to do his Sacko punishments and Shiva Champion Ted has a few surprises for everyone at the draft, including JJ Watt.

Episode 2: The Von Nowzick Wedding, Sept 11th.
The wedding weekend continues but what happened at the draft comes back to haunt everyone. We meet Andre's parents. Ruxin wrestles J.J. Watt for control of his fantasy team.

Episode 3: Chalupa vs. The Cutlet, Sept 18th.
Kevin and Jenny discover that Jay and Kristen Cutler's kid is attending the same preschool. Pete tries to cheer up Andre with a little help from Snoop Dogg. Taco gives away control of his team.

Episode 4: Rafi and Dirty Randy, Sept 25th.
Written by Jason Mantzoukas & Seth Rogan.
When their friend is murdered, Rafi and Dirty Randy (Seth Rogen) head to L.A. to avenge his death and break into the mainstream porn business.

Episode 5: The Bye Week, Oct 2nd.
Ruxin misses his flight for a business trip and decides to hide out in Chicago instead of going home. Taco Corp. gets its first Worldwide Headquarters.

Episode 6: Heavy Petting, Oct 9th.
Taco Corp. starts a petting zoo business, Kevin and Ellie rebel when Jenny tries to get the family to adopt a healthier lifestyle. Pete uses Andre as a Trade Maid.

Episode 7: The Bringer Show, Oct 16th.
Andre is taking a stand up class. Jenny joins a women's investment club. Pete will play Ruxin with two open slots on his team - the ultimate act of fantasy disrespect.

Episode 8: Flowers for Taco, Oct 23rd.
Chalupa Batman's first words cause fantasy friction between Kevin and Jenny. Ruxin's dog loses interest in Jenny. Taco is forced to face life without marijuana. Andre has never been pooped on by a bird.

Episode 9:
Automatic Faucet
, Oct 30th.
Pete's lineups at work are out-performing his fantasy roster. Andre makes a trade with Jenny that could threaten his career. Rafi and Taco try to cash in on Kevin's mortality.

Episode 10:
The Near Death Flex-perience
, Nov 6th.
Taco opens a pubic barber shop, Kevin's near death Flex-perience with Greg Jennings causes trouble with Jenny, Andre discovers a patient's electronic voice box sounds just like Ruxin.

Episode 11:
The Credit Card Alert
, Nov 13th.
Ellie's basketball coach (Erin Heatherton) makes life tough on everyone. Pete dates a married woman and Andre tries to help with a trade.

Episode 12:
Baby Geoffrey Jesus
, Nov 20th.
It's the playoffs for the Shiva. Ruxin and Sofia battle over what religion Baby Geoffrey will be. Andre tries a long con. Kevin worries he has been taking Jenny for granted.

Episode 13:
The 8 Defensive Points of Hanukkah
, Nov 20th.
The Shiva and The Ruxin are on the line. Andre confronts the #1 Plastic Surgeon in Chicago. Rafi tries to collect a debt from Ruxin's sister Rebecca. TacoCorp. launches The Eskimo Brothers Database.

Netflix needs to get with the season 4 having; I need to rewatch because I had thought the ending meant Trixie wouldn't be back and I have absolutely no memory of the Shiva being won, at all. It wasn't as strong as the first few seasons, so I wound up not rewatching episodes which has led to not remembering most of what happened.

And episode 4
is total 'go either way' material. It is either going to be fantastic or it will totally suck, I don't see much middle ground.

I still don't know if I get this channel. Fox Soccer is in a sports tier that I don't pay for. I'm not forking out extra for a tier I'm not even going to use for one damn channel.

Well Cox told me that it'll remain in the sports tier till they figure out where to move it, basically I'm boned for this season.

Excited. Not sure it is my favorite comedy on TV right now (its up there), but I think it makes me laugh more than any other. Totally nails (if maybe in an exaggerated way) how guys act together with all the ball-busting. I love it.

Fuck Cox, this the answer I got after asking them about FXX.

We are reevaluating the future location of FXX due to Fox's decision to change the format of Fox Soccer, but for the time being it will remain in the Sports & Info Pak. We may move it in the future when we have an opportunity to do so.

Ugh really mad I'm not going to be able to watch Sunny and the League because my school doesn't get FXX... Any chance FXX would end up streaming episodes online?

So my gf has never seen this show before so I decided I'd go back and start at Season 1 so she can figure out who the guys are and everything.

It is so jarring to hear/see names of players that only a few years later have had huge downturns or have retired.

Like they mention taking Michael Turner in the 1st Round in episode one. Dude can't even find a roster spot now. Torrey Holt? retired. Then they mentioned a few depth late round picks that I had to look up to remember.

Damn the NFL runs through players quick.

This is the first time I've ever seen the show. Are these guys an improv troupe? I know that I've seen them elsewhere on other programs, but they are all working really well together here.

Most of it is improv.

Raffi and Andre have a podcast called "How does it get Made?"

If you have netflix I recommend watching season 1-4.

Ruxin and Andre are stand up comics (and were in Upright Citizens Brigade), Taco was a youtube comic musician, Pete is an Indie director/writer, Kate is Pete's wife, Kevin was in the WTC on 9/11 and decided to give acting a shot.

Ha! Since we had our draft last Friday the Blair Walsh thing had me dying only because of an inside joke in our league. Anyway, decent enough opening episode.
