Which Sony Studios are most likely to show up at E3?

Please let it be Ni no Kuni 2. Faces will melt on that current-gen tech. I'd be more excited for a hypothetical NnK2 than I am for FFXV at this point.

I have yet to finish Ni No Kuni. I sort of gave up after
The metal robot boss in the underground section of the city you go to? I think I was about 1/3 through the game or something but none of my minions were effective against the boss so I gave up

If there is a sequel on PS4, I will definitely get my PS3 back and finish it. Hell I might actually go ahead and finish it this summer when I get it back to play Persona 4.

Best wishes.

I wish all of them could give us even just a hint about what they're doing,
Realistically, I expect to see..

E3
  • GG with Horizon (trailer, short demo?), 2016 release
  • Bend, just to ensure that they're still alive
  • San Diego, news on Kill Strain, Drawn to Death
  • Quantic Dream to bring the feels

GC
  • MM and their "game"
  • London with a tech demo for Morpheus
  • ND with Uncharted 4 (short trailer, perhaps extended at VGA / PSX)

PSX
  • Santa Monica, trailer for .. something
  • PD, trailer for GT7

Sucker Punch, Cambridge and Evolution (sigh), see ya next year..
I like to see Japan Studio and the obvious trailer for TLG with release date as a jolly to use if the competition drop the bombs.
Ain't happening.

I just wanna know if Agent is still a thing.

This was Agent's sign of life... That was in June, 2013

After addressing The Last Guardian, Geoff Keighley had to ask Jack Tretton about Agent, the PlayStation exclusive project from Rockstar that has just never seemed to amount to anything.

Here was his response, that sadly doesn’t give us hope:

I would say that we have great friends over at Rockstar and they’re developing the game, not us. So, I’m looking forward to hearing… if you hear anything, you let me know, if I hear anything, I’ll let you know.

Based on that comment, if you want to hear something about Agent, we’ll have to wait for Rockstar to give us an update, and not Sony. Or not, because it’s dead.

I have the hardest time understanding why people care. It's just a name. If they're not working on Agent, they're working on some other game which will also have a name. I'm sure you'd buy either one.

I have this wierd feeling that Crash is coming back to Playstation, but as a licensing deal.
Crash has been teased by Sony in those Ps4 commercials, just like Street Fighter. One insider said Crash is coming back, same with TLG. We have to wait and see i guess.

I just really like the idea of Rockstar making a Cold War espionage game.

All these teasing Sony has done has gotta be for something, I just wonder what the heck it's really for.

I heard about this too in TheWorthyEdge's podcast called 8BB.

Since everyone has their own wishlist, I'll make mine:

Gran Turismo PS4
The Last Guardian
Guerilla Game's Hybrid Project
Street Fighter V (Fuck You Ken Edition)
New Media Molecule IP

JRPG #1
JRPG #2
JRPG #3
JRPG #4
JRPG #5
New Sly
New Crash Bandicoot
New Sony Mascot Fighter
New Shadow Hearts
Final Fantasy XV
Final Fantasy XVI
Kingdom Hearts 3
Final Fantasy spin-off RPG
New SE console RPG IP
Final Fantasy X spin-off
FF7 remake
FF7 spin-off
FF6 remake
Square Enix crossover game
Dragon Quest XI
New Parasite Eve
Monster Hunter PS4
DMC5
New Capcom TPS IP (Because we need more TPS)
New EA IP
New Ubisoft IP
New Prince of Persia
New Naval RPG
New Cyberpunk Action/Adventure/RPG IP
New Sega Action/Adventure IP
New Marvel Action/Adventure title
New Soul Calibur
New Rockstar IP

I think that covers most of what I desire. I'm not asking for much really. If anything, I'm probably more sensible than most, because I'm not asking for Shenmue 3. If even half of this can be announced at E3, I won't call it crap. I'm reasonable like that.

Edit:

Oh, and Ken is a valuable part of the Street Fighter legacy, and community. He helps people relate to the struggles of wearing red. He also has looks which make women envious, since he's so pretty. He would make a great wife, especially with all those skills of his, because you'd never have to worry about being robbed or anything like that.

Thank you, Ken.

sony first party line up for e3 2015, ladies and gentleman
where is that fuckin train?

I think I cracked it. Look at the first 4 games and you'll immediately see a pattern emerge. First game is very likely, 2nd unlikely, third likely again, 4th unlikely (no way there's gonna be a Ken-less SF). It seems that every odd numbered game on this list will 100% be announced.

Which means expect to see the following games at E3:
Gran Turismo 7
Horizon
Media Molecule New IP
JRPG 2 and 4
New Sly
PS All Stars 2
FF XV (duh)
KH 3 (duh, very sly, Verendus)
New Square Enix IP (I mean, Dissidia is new as far as PS4 is concerned)
FF 7 and 6 remake (I'm thinking this is tongue in cheek and hinting at a FF6 PS4 port alongside the already announced FF7)
Dragon Quest XI (almost a given at this point)
Monster Hunter PS4 (1st real megaton on the list and we're so far down, reinforcing its possible validity)
New Capcom TPS IP
New Ubisoft/Naval/Sega/Soul Calibur (too unspecific, could range from AAA to indie except Soul Calibur)

Heck, this is actually really plausible. Nothing here is too out there, it's actually pretty tame considering the usual expectations, while still jam-packed and interesting.

Fuck, now I'm full excite mode for E3. I wonder if my interpretation of Verendus' post turns out to be the unadulterated truth.

I was talking about WorthyEdge actually :p One of the three things he mentioned was Dragons Dogma, and that turned out to be a thing.

I thought theworthyedge only talked about TLG.

I think it would be smart for them to tease Gamescom and TGS reveals at E3. it makes more sense to keep E3 about your big 3rd party deals and US studios and talk about the future of the console and the playstation brand. Like show a teaser trailer for Horizon with a VO, logo, quick cut of a bad-ass redhead riding a mech-t-rex, and then say "more at Gamescom '15"

that way we get the "holy shit" and then get the real details from Guerilla at gamescom. gives them more time to get a demo ready too.

As for studios presenting at the show. My guess is:

SquareEnix
please be excited
Blizzard
Bungie
Dice
Rocksteady
Naughty Dog
Santa Monica
San Diego
Insomniac
Double Fine
Indies, so so many glorious Indies
Ubisoft
Supermassive Games

Maybes:
Bethesda
Gearbox
Rockstar

I'm feeling a strong showcase of third party partnerships. they probably have a deal with either guitar hero or rock band

also wouldn't be surprised if they do another theater event with a beta for battlefront akin to hardline

I'm not expecting any MEGAbombs, i actually want to hear about upcoming firmware features, beta enrolment, playstation originals, Movies (Uncharted, Last of Us, Ratchet & Clank), Vue (come to me please), new content partnerships (please give me HBO Now.) they don't need to spend an hour on this stuff but 15-20 minutes would be nice.

Oh god we're doomed. Still nearly two months to go before E3, we won't make it alive
