WWE Hell In A Cell '17 |OT| Here Comes The Money.....There Goes The Money

That was fantastic! Yes! to Sami turning heel and helping KO. So happy they did something creative to have Shane miss KO instead of KO just moving.

Sami has all right to be pissed at Shane. Sami never prospered when he came to Smackdown.

Finally, a reasonable heel turn.

Yep.

And Shane was rude as fuck to him repeatedly and kept blowing him off.

AJ, Owens, Zayn... Shane legitimately pissed them off or screwed them over.

Story is Shane is a bad Commissioner

Great match and great booking. Can't say that often about WWE these days.

Sami has a pretty easy explanation. He was happy to escape the hell of how he was treated on Raw to come to SD and he got treated even worse here.

I seriously did not think that the WWE had that ending in them.

Yeah, the Zayn heel turn makes complete sense.

He's languished on SD, even though he fought to get on it believing it would be better for his career.

He saw the light and realized KO was right about Shane and DB.

Zayn turning heel is actually...sad.
The realisation that his good guy antics put a ceiling on him, the story that worked so wonderfully for his nxt title win couldn't cut it on the main roster.

He was the pure face, corrupted by WWE booking, a true turn with weight.

This is great. There's logic to back up Sami's motives to make him a really compelling and complex heel. Please don't screw it up come Tuesday

So he decided to help a guy who's tried to murder him countless times?

It's stupid. Take Owens out the equation it's acceptable, the idea Zayn is going to help Owens is absolutely absurd.

I can't remember the last time a Raw PPV or match ended with this kind of continued storyline. That was brilliant.

It would make sense that the only HIAC matches would be the best ones on the card.

Zayn and Owens are like the rivals from a shonen anime. No matter how much they try to kill each other, they'll always end up together again eventually.

And the best part is this means that they can break up and have fresh reason to fight. Keep the cycle going forever.

Zayn is the perpetual good friend though. That's what good guys do, good guy stuff.

He's taking it full circle 360 degrees to villainy.

Is it? Zayn's seen Owens get way more chances than him because he was a huge dick, whilst that's what Owens had been telling him since NXT. Zayn should legit hate the people in charge more than he does Owens, they're the people who give Owens the spot even when Sami beats him.

Zayn going heel is great. He can develop his character more and get some screentime. Could be similar to Bryan's 2012 turn.

Mark Peter Rosenberg is such a massive tool.

Zayn's modivation can simply be how everything has been shit since he's gotten to the main roster or could just go with been on Smackdown.

KO tried to make amends when he asked him for help as the ref against AJ, which started the whole Shane feud. At least KO respected Zayn. It's worse to be completely ignored.

I'm not accepting "it's like a stupid anime" as good storytelling.

I realise the standards are in the gutter here but the Owens/Zayn feud was the one thing WWE booked absolutely perfectly from 2014 onwards. And now doing this is just stupid. I know most people won't care because it's a swerve but it's really dumb.
