Couldn't find a proper ref for wario-colored Mario, does he have green shoes in SSB4?

anyone who can find me videos that properly show character alts, your help would be appreciated.

Actually Brawl had bugs too and people reported them. They were fixed, but no one commented on the speed and such. With the foresight and such you'd think people would talk to the staff about it (especially now when they are open), but nope.

And smh at the "you lot".

I don't think it's wrong to say that a lot of people in this thread hate the competitive fanbase based on a few idiots and actively want the game to not be enjoyable from a competitive viewpoint just so they can spite those few idiots.

And if they don't then they definitely act like it.

I have never seen this. The casual crowd just doesn't play the game in such a way that exposes Brawl's biggest flaws so they don't empathize very much, but I've never seen somebody actually want to spite the competitive crowd like that, at least not on this forum.

They were fixed, but no one commented on the speed and such.

It wasn't really until after the game came out that everyone realized how strong the defensive mechanics were which slowed down the game even further. Brawl eventually became about stalling and whatnot which are inherently anti-fun.

Anyone know a good place to find damage percents for older games?

Link summary:

Dash attack: 14% (jumping slash)
Spin attack (up B): 7% (middle hit) - Seems really nerfed.
Bomb: 6%
Arrow (uncharged): 4%
Arrow (fully charged): 12%


Also overheard on the livestream from day 2 that nate bildorff is leaning towards 'a couple characters that haven't been announced yet'! (This was AFTER pac-man reveal, btw)

She really wasn't. She was the main character of Part 1 of Radiant Dawn, but in both Parts 3 and 4 Ike clearly was the actual main, not Micaiah. It even gets kind of ridiculous when we get to the final CG and Ike gets a big scene with
real form Yune
that seems completely out of character for him, just because he's the main character, with Micaiah nowhere to be seen.

Sometimes I wonder if the change of focus might have had to do with Ike's addition to Brawl? The game's last shot of Ike shows him with his initial Path of Radiance outfit for whatever reason, rather than Radiant Dawn's itself. It could explain the story's change of focus midway through.

Anyway, if we really do get Chrom, I hope he isn't just another swordfighter. Incorporate the whole strategy aspect of the game somehow, with summoned units for specials or something, don't just give him unique sword slashes...

Micaiah would count, but people hate her character.
I hope Chrom can summon MU so it means he is a unique sword fighter.

I'm still clinging to the hope that the developers realised their mistake halfway through and recyled Chrom's animation assets into Robin. It'll make the truth sting more when it comes, but it's a nice layer of insulation against reality for now.

We don't even know how they work? And seeing as the Rhythm Tengoku games are some of the best games to come out in recent years the hate the Chorus Men are getting (despite not even being confirmed yet) is ridiculous.

If you're compiling percents, be careful to make sure you get it from the first use. As far as I know, the damage still probably scales down with usage.

I just want Chrom to represent Awakening, somehow. It would be a shame if he were just another generic Fire Emblem swordwielder who could've been pulled from any entry in the series. It would be really cool if class changing or pairing up made an appearance.

I'd prefer and be open to the chorus men over another FE character, for sure. I just don't think they are as deserving as characters like Simon or Bomberman. Both have far larger legacys.

No hate, just they aren't as exciting or fitting to me
