I was one of those Halo 4 people, I was mistaken. I am more cautious for 5.

With the embargo up, my god the Halo 1 mp ping noise is so annoying. Hope they patch it out, going to try and stream some competitive Halo 1/2/A tonight.

Snipetality also working on a short highlight reel of yesterday's stream, might see some Frankie in there too.

Yeah, but we haven't even seen the Halo 5 stuff. And a lot of us here accurately predicted how Halo 4's numerous disasters would turn out as soon as they were announced.

If it doesn't crowd the UI or it's possible to disable then I'm fine with it. I think it's great to give more information for those who don't know. I certainly don't have the time or patience to learn every map and every spawn timer for all the power weapons and that should be fine for any sort of social playlist.

I'd lean more towards taking it out for the competitive playlists though.

I'm not saying we should have that for Halo, just saying it sounds kind of awesome. Also Titanfall is definitely not mediocre.

Wondering if the Halo 5 footage during Halo fest will actually be live, I would imagine it to be alot easier to produce a diverse showcase of the gameplay if they could highlight particular actions (by knowing when it will happen) but then again idk if the commentary would sound natural

Anchor 9 wasn't THAT bad. I had fun rushing the rocket spawn in low grav. I would beast with the shotgun in the mid map area too. I think I got a perfection on that map once that was rocket/shotgun tastic.

Imagine that constant ping noise on top of your timer for weapons and powerups, audio torture.

This is a salt fix for any and all Gaf threads.

Anchor 9 was pretty bad but it always reminded me of that map on Unreal Tournament where the Redeemer was at the top.

Not sure why it reminded me of that map but isn't a bad thing.

Looking at the images looks like it has been changed and seems to be vastly improved from any previous iteration.

People give quite a bit of hate towards 343 but looking at Bungie with Destiny would they not just have gone down the same path, if not more so?
