Maybe this is all just a VR sim for Raiden and we wake up after the hospital as young Jack the Ripper and MGS V turns out to be the Revenagance that Kojima originally wanted to make?

Kojima said in an interview with MGSV he wants to surprise people again just like he did with MGS2.

Why would they change the english VA of Snake? I don't buy their bullshit excuse we have new face tech and mocap stuff that's why he had to change the voice actor.

Exactly. We've seen hours of footage, yet it feels like we know nothing of the game's story (despite the fact that it's a prequel in a long-running franchise).

That would be ideal but I imagine we'll get a trailer spoiling a bunch.

I'm glad we don't know what any of the bosses are yet.

I do hope it turns out that "this" Big Boss is some kind of impostor or something to that effect. It's just so weird that they claim continuity but Keifer is in here out of nowhere. It is also strange and compelling that Hayter contiunes to entertain MGS-based tweets and questions, and post things like the Santa Snake. I should think that if he really was burned by Konami as claimed, he wouldn't want to emphasize his role as Snake or entertain MGS related interactions.

I think from what we've seen in the trailers already is plenty enough. I just want a release date this point then going full blackout.

I kinda get the feeling that Konami wants to reveal Solid Snake before release. It probably would give it a sales push.

He's only in the game if Solid Snake is in it and not just David the kid. So far there is no sign whatsoever that suggests that Solid Snake will be in it. Keep your expectations low.

I for one am ready for maximum Kojima trolling. Sons of Liberty is still my favorite (even though Snake Eater is the 'better' game), just for the sheer mindfuckery of it all.

I hope Snake does come back. He's my favorite video game character and I wasn't happy with how MGS4 ended. He gets a little time left to live as an old man and watches Meryl marry mr poopy pants. LAME.

I want to find out did Big Boss really shoot and kill those African children behind bars? The scene with them having diamonds in their hands. I'm not gonna lie, that disturbed the hell out of me. If Big Boss did that, then there is now coming back from that.

Probably not, they just made tricky camera cuts. Like in your favorite movie trailers. Where the trailers are never like the actual movie.

That's possible. I remember The Last of Us trailer fooled me (when it looks like Ellie is pointing a gun at Joel).
