This is my favorite time of the year. The year that the infamous NeoGAF hype train arrives yet again for an endless amount of entertainment.

There was even a couple of pre-hype threads before there was an announcement. There are times when you'd swear this was a Nintendo forum.

I am expecting some surprises, fingers crossed, but also looking to some new info on Star Fox and Splatoon specifically.

Aside from the possible announcement for the "New" Nintendo 3DS, I'm hoping there will be more concrete release dates for 'Yoshi's Wooly World' & 'Splatoon'. I would be surprised there wouldn't be any information about the Mewtwo DLC & the SMASH! Soundtrack, along with some extra details for Mario Maker & the Amiibo functionality for 'Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker'.

But with this tweet that had popped up, I'm being wishful that there is a teaser for a F-Zero game for the Wii U/3DS.

Don't expect SMTXFE, although maybe they'll have EO2 Untold if we're lucky.

There's EOUII and EOV. EOUII might get mentioned for localization, but I doubt it. I mean it WILL happen eventually, just not sure it will be at this Direct.

I honestly don't expect Splatoon to be released anytime soon. It'll be a summer title I can feel it. It's the perfect game for summer break. And I predict Yoshi's Wolly World and Mario Party 10 to be released on March and April. Mario Maker (wich I'm really looking forward) and one of Miyamoto's Project games for May. Either way, looks like this year Wii U will not have any long game droughts wich is truly appreciated! One big game per month and it's all good to go!

I think it's safe to say they will talk about it a little bit. Might focus more on the 3DS release of the first Xenoblade, but I still think they will mention some info on Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Because the Fall seems reserved for either Star Fox or Zelda. The tweets from the Xenoblade devs seem to say it is nearing the final stages of completion

There's a Japanese direct, and it's getting release in Spring in Japan...so the chances are good for the Japanese stream. For the other streams...I'm not so sure...
