Ha, as predicted by GAF. Sucks I've got a class, the only class that day at the exact time the ND starts up.
Anyway I'm only really expecting Splatoon info, maybe even the same they've been showing off on tumblr the last few weeks. Maybe some Smash/MK8 DLC info, but that's it.
Any new announcements/new game footage would be the giant tasty cherry on my small cake!

The thing I'm afraid the most is New Nintendo 3DS announcement. Not because of an actual announcement, but because of 15 to 30 minute of repeating the same information we all already know ("it has a C-Stick!"). Although I am ready to know about release dates and New 3DS games or game updates.
Speaking of updates, we need an information about Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
amiibo update, Smash Wii U Miiverse/tourneys/sharing update... and, well, I would like to see information about DLC Pack 2 for Mario Kart 8, but I bet it will be avaiable weeks before the release (just like with DLC Pack 1).
And speaking of dates... yeah, we need them. Especially Europe - the only known information about Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush release date is "Q3/Q4 2015". This is ridiculous! I hope it will be pushed back in Europe.
I hope - and kinda expect, to be honest, - some information about Star Fox or Miyamoto's Projects. I do not expect Majora's Mask 3D info, and we already got our dose of Zelda U info, so Zelda questions are covered. Some usual surprise eShop title or new system feature (from new platform for Virtual Console to Wii U Chat update, whatever) would be nice. My jaw will drop if we will have QoL mentioned, although it wouldn't be a wise move from Nintendo's side.

I think this year's announcements include Animal Crossing, Amiibo RPG and Retro's game. Presumably they'll hold on to it for E3 for the hardcore crowd.

Atlus is prepared. So we'll see mentions of Etrian Mystery Dungeon and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker and then a reveal of Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem?

So the media event was legit after all. Gonna be interesting, though I bet that event is there to show off the New 3DS models.
Hopefully the Direct does not consume a lot of time on the New 3DS, or just extend the show to 45 minutes to discuss more about the upcoming games and new announcements.
