Watched the whole thing. Trump was my favorite part. You knew everytime he opened his mouth something stupid and/or asshole-y was going to come out.

Trump attacking Fox News on Twitter right now.

Lol. He's certainly entertaining.

I loved how Trump gave no fucks at Fox's attempt to nail him. He just opened his mouth like an asshole like it were nothing while displaying an immense amount of unfounded confidence, and just won the conservative hearts and minds.

Conservative Media echo chamber + people put off by his behavior/answers yesterday. He didn't do anything to gain new supporters, he did enough to lose existing ones.

Seems like you're doing a lot of assuming. We just know Fox News seems to have an issue with him and their facebook page is getting blasted for it.

There's a retweet calling Kelly a bimbo, that one probably isn't the smartest considering the context of the question he's upset about

Kelly is just another Fox News personality who takes orders from Ailes, just like Chris Matthews clearly had orders from above (MSNBC) to grill Schultz and make Sanders look like some kind of a nut job.

These people don't deserve any respect, because they are trying to set the agenda themselves. Hopefully Trump continues with his unapologetic comments, because that is something people on the other side should do as well. Voters respect confidence, even arrogance.

That's not the point

Even if he loses female voters, he is serving a purpose this election cycle.

-He is exposing how corrupt the Washington establishment is with his campaign donation related comments.

-He is also demonstrating that a lot of people are tired with mushy political speech. Otherwise he wouldn't be polling so high. After the opening statements there was a 20 minute period that was utterly boring when professional politicians were going through the motions with their usual talking points.

The thing is that Trump could easily win this if he had more sense to really tap into that nativist frustration while also explaining how a single payer system (among other things) is better for business. America first and all that. Obviously he is completely unhinged and does not think too much about such issues so all we can do is enjoy the ride while it lasts.

For Movers & Shakers in newer polls from where they're currently at in the polls im gonna predict:

Trump goes down by -1
Carson up 2+
Walker (same) 0
Rubio 2+
Cruz 1
Bush 0
Huckabe 0
Kasich 3+
Christie -2
Paul -1

Paul or Christie gets replaced by Fiorina for the September debate

We were told he was going to crash and burn once the debates came around and yet that didn't remotely happen. Seems like he got some soundbites out of it too which is all that matters anymore.

he could have done much more to solidify his electability. he sounded flummoxed at a few junctures. circumstances were set against him, and he did not do a great job in overcoming.

Fox (and the GOP stablishment) is pushing the fuck out of Fiorina.

They really want a white lady to somehow counter Hillary. What is more ridiculous is that they are set to play the tech/business angle, despite the fact that she's been named one of the worst CEOs of all time and her name still raises hairs over HP.

I'll wait for poll numbers but I feel Bush is the real loser out of all of this. He didn't do enough to show that he would be a real contender with Clinton or that he's even guaranteed to win the primaries when Trump falls through. The biggest thing going for Bush is his name and the notion that he's the most electable. If Rubio steals that thunder then Bush is dead in the water.

At this point his only goal is to stay "in there" before campaigning really begins and money starts playing a bigger role. He didn't do well but it wasn't a failure either.

Rubio had a strong showing however and I bet Cruz appealed to many hard liners with his talking points.

Hah. CNN rated Trump's "I've given the majority of you money" a "True". 5 of the 9 others = a majority. At the time I was assuming that was a Trump exaggeration, and odds are he didn't know if the statement was true or not.

Trump can run with this hard. "I'm paying for that hotel you're staying at tonight. Is it a 5-star? Because mine's a 5." -- "I gave you money and look at what happened. I believed in you! But you made such awful candidates that I had to join the race myself", etc etc etc.

If Rubio, Kasich, or Walker excel in the September debates then I imagine the plethora of donators pumping money into Bush will start to turn that faucet off. He just wasn't memorable and in some ways that's the worst thing a candidate can be. He needs to nail those upcoming debates.

He along with Walker need to gain votes and if they think they're going to coast until Trump falls apart, I think that's a bad assumption on their part.

Fair enough. It will be interesting to see how this dynamic works.

Rand Paul also managed to distance himself from the other candidates but I don't know how that will go down with the base.

I suppose that's one way to see it though I think he was dishing out zingers all night. The polls will tell us soon.

This was definitely the funniest response from Trump :

.@FrankLuntz is a low class slob who came to my office looking for consulting work and I had zero interest. Now he picks anti-Trump panels!

He is just out there to expose people.

Bush was really flat, yes.

That and all the err, questionable shit, he's been saying the past few weeks makes me think the establishment might have back a dud and will need to pivot to somebody else to kill Trump's momentum.

I am saying things based on what I saw. Trump will have a core base of supporters that won't leave him but while some other candidates did enough to gain new support, Trump didn't. His poll numbers will go lower is my feeling.

And this is the first of many debates, it will just get worse for him as more debates happen.

Trump isn't wrong though. It's quite odd to see an entire network collude to take down one presidential candidate.

Eh, not really. They did this to Ron Paul in the '08 race. The difference is that while Paul couldn't really stand up for himself, Trump tells them where to shove it.

Aren't you the guy who said he would crash and burn in this first debate? Now it's multiple debates?

Not at all.

Murdoch and Ailes dream that they are electing the GoP nominee and eventually the President. Its their wet dream.

I think I said by end of August he will be in 5th or lower position in polls. I maintain that. And it will get worse for him with each debate.

But maybe I will be wrong.

What the fuck did I just watch? I have no words.
The people applauding each one of these fucktards depress me.

i think mike huckabee was the most odious fuckboy tonight with 'we can't kill babbies!' and then turning around and proudly declaring that the military is for killing folks and blowing up shit (as a way to explain that transgender folks are weirdos that don't deserve happiness).
