Ah, gotcha. Thanks for the info! I guess it's a sequel then or the 'Z' style game and just an expanded concept of it. The two versions has always worked well for them, and B/W did get a similar two version sequel so it does make sense. In fact I'm surprised looking back that it wasn't the prevailing expectation....

really enjoyed Mt. Coronet, as it gives the whole "split region" feel and has a really great exploration on it

the only bad thing I can say about it is the reliance on HMs.

Mind you I am solely talking about the cartography / region design.

But he is speaking the truth, Sinnoh is the best one. It gave us lots of legends and sidequests, Barry, a competent Battle Frontier, sweet postgame, a clever third game, 2 awesome eeveelutions, evolutions for older gen pokemon, the best version of Pokemon Contests, the mining minigame and the Physical/Special split for attacks.

Unova was pretty linear but I liked a lot of the locales. Plus the game wasn't a pain in the ass about HMs, which was nice.

Caves are always the worst part of Pokemon games. They have all of the negatives of Hoenn's ocean, but they take away your ability to fly, replace all the cool ocean Pokemon with garbage cave Pokemon, and replace fun blue and green colors with brown.

i think someone else grabbed that domain name. looking at few other mainline pokemon dns registry, it's registered by CSC Corporate Domain, but for sunmoon/moonsun it's by Launchpad.com

Yeah no, Johto is a neutered region because rather than improving upon it they decided to squeeze Kanto. Easily one of the worst. Also has the worst "circular" route since it feels so pointless.
