PS+ Games For May: Tropico 5, Table Top Racing: World Tour, Bionic Commando Rearmed 2

For me, I'm holding on primarily for the discounts and access to my backlog. I don't really play any PS4 games online and the free games generally haven't appealed to me in awhile. I'll check out Ghost of Sparta, but that's all that interests me.

Still, I usually do deal shopping and can get a year of PS Plus for $35, and I've more than made that back in extra discounts, so it isn't all bad.

Also, Bionic Commando 2 is an interesting historical artifact...in that it's the textbook definition of how bad level design can kill a game that could have had everything else amazing going for it.

not bad month actually for me – Tropico 5, Bionic Commando Rearmed 2, LocoRoco Cocoreccho! and God of War: Ghost of Sparta

Is tropico pretty easy to pick up? More along the lines of simcity than civilization? Civ has always been impenetrable to me, just don't have that kind of dedication.

It's pretty light, there's a reason it's one of the few strategy series bothering to release on consoles consistently.

Im happy with both, I'll play Tropico, and me and my kids will definitley enjoy Table top racing, so this is a really solid month.

Can't believe people wanted Watch Dogs over Tropico, WD is $10, go buy it.

It's not AAA enough.

Neither is Watch Dogs according to GAF 3 days ago, or Knack according to GAF since launch, or anything else. I have no idea what would make people happy

Wasnt loco roco for ps3 just an interactive screensaver? Tropico sounds good, never heard of that Tabletopthing. And Ghosts of Sparta is great.

In retrospect, that image from the other thread is blatantly fake as hell when you look at it for more than a few seconds.

Tropico 5 sounds interesting and some of the others that I don't own sound that they might offer some entertainment. But between DS3, R&C and soon Uncharted 4 they're all going straight into the backlog anyway.

The true gift of PS Plus announcement day is watching people flip out in the PS Blog comments. The salt sustains me.

First time in ages that I'm looking forward to a ps+ game. Always wanted to try tropico but never got round to even playing the demo.

It's a shame there isn't a reduced price or free online option that excludes this all this shit that many of us have no interest in.

Table Top Racing: World Tour reminds me of Mashed. Looks like a decent fun racer.

Ghosts of Sparta is one of the best God of War games. Will replay it on the Vita.

Decent month imho.

Is GOW ghost of sparta any good?

Hands down the best game in the series. Great story, amazing visuals, wonderful level design and runs quite well on PS Vita/PSP (with the PS3 version running at a locked 60FPS).

Highly, highly recommend playing it when it lands on Plus :D!

Definitely a shit lineup here, but at the same time Uncharted + a stacked multi platform month makes it easy enough to not care.

Needed more games for my everlasting backlog tho.

I'm...pleasantly happy with this. Heard good things about Tabletop Racing, and while I don't normally play Sim games, Tropico seems like a great place to start. Didn't realise that there was a PS3 Locoroco either.

Man, the Playstation Rocket League Subscription Service just keeps grinding against the floor, month after month.

I wish Sony would get rid of online MP being tacked on because it would save me $40 every year.

Which is, of course, the only reason they won't.
