There is no reason for it not be 14/16, I'd be very surprised if they kept it at 28 with size reductions

Ugh, that PS4 Slim design really does reek of cost cutting and sidelining. It'd probably look a bit nicer if the Neo wasn't launching alongside the Slim as the high-end model.
The Xbox One S also has a chassis with less luxury materials (no chrome, no glossy/matte plastic divide) but at least Microsoft is proudly celebrating that matte plastic finish. Even if you don't personally like the design you can tell real craftsmanship has gone into realising it:

Interesting. Not sure there will be a next gen handheld though, why would there be a limited edition PS Vita model for World of Final Fantasy after the event? Maybe it's another "normal" (aka 3DS to 3DS XL, not 3DS to N3DS) Vita refresh like a 3000.

Sure, with the Xbox One S though they made the just to supporting 4K content in UHD and streaming. Seems like a missed opportunity to have a cheap 4K player from Sony while also having a premium console in the Neo.
Yeah. There was a rumor about it launching in March 2017, the same month as the rumored NX launch.

Yeah, this is not about being slimmer, the PS4 already is pretty slim, but about making these things cheaper and therefore selling it for a cheaper price.

I agree that it is a revision to go hand in hand with Neo. Just like the S will be sold along with Scorpio next year. That is exactly what I am saying. But then you also say that Neo is not even coming next year, lol? We shall see.
