Strangely, most of my friends list has very few playing MW remaster, none playing IW mp, and the others playing shooters are divided equally between BF1 and TF2.

Alright thanks, I wish the game had a test range or something so I can test it out. I guess I can start a solo private matchyeh thats how it works..
sprint towards a wall and aim yr grapple at the top of it, once it starts whipping you towards it .. hit jump just before you reach it and you'll be catapulted over it .. for huge air. once you nail it you'll never look back.
same concept works on the sides of structures, after grapple activates, get yr cross hairs pointing at the empty space to the side of the building and hit jump, and you'll be sling shotted around it.
think attack on titian and you'll get the idea
Because jump is needed to slingshot you.

Lagoon, Fracture and Angel City DLC would make my pilots day big time.
Yeah, I can't get behind this at all. Hemlock gets murdered by almost everything else at close range. There's a clear risk/reward to using it. I'm not sure I'd change much about it
Honestly I've taken down almost every Northstar that decides to pop up in the air, he's up there way to long and is just a sitting duck.

It is the biggest player base for sure, it's a lot healthier than I thought it would be with all the doom and gloom talk of sales all over the show.
It's really quite astounding how it's improved so much if anything since IW: makes me think that there must have been a dropoff, but it's been outshadowed by new sales due to positive word of mouth (well, that's what I'm hoping for anyways). That way, those that went to IW may still be back to TF2 after a bit also, and with Xmas round the corner that'll boost the pop a good sized chunk for sure.
The future is far less bleak than first imagined me thinks.

I'll be honest there were quite a few reasons for me to order this (should be getting to me on Tuesday):
1 - That positive word of mouth. You guys definitely had me checking in here constantly and the buzz became increasingly more and more positive.
2 - Owning BF1. I love the game, but I am getting to a point in which I kind of wish the games were a little faster, especially since school work is getting a little heavier. I love the game, but Operations, which is the mode I like, can easily take a good hour away from your night. People not knowing how to play properly is also very noticeable and frustrating, and this can make a long match last even longer.
3 - Mechs. This game has fucking mechs. Also, I loved TF1 on PC.

Haven't won a match yet in multiplayer, don't really care as it so much fun to play lol!
It's been pretty consistently around 20k, today in particular was the first day I noticed it closer to 25k. In off hours it's a bit less.

Wonder if me being in Canada will mean I get grouped with folks from here, or if I will be put into the US servers which are surely more populated. Again, I have high hoped for this game and think it will be successful in the long run. Those PS4Pro shots seems to be turning some heads on GAF as well. Who knows really.

I wish the scoreboard wasn't a toggle. Too many times I check the scoreboard but forget to toggle it off and I've been playing the game for 20 seconds with the scoreboard on.
Is there a setting I've been missing so scoreboard is hold down to view?

How are servers split up? Shouldn't Ontario/Quebec/New York/Florida all be in one East Coast server?

Yes. I'm playing from Canada (Ontario) as well and it's just all grouped east coast server for sure.

Not a huge deal but every once in a while I cant see shit... oh ya..
So I just bought the game after umming and ahh-ing. All my friends have BF1 which is fine, to me that makes for a great squad experience so I can play if they're about. If you're on you're own though this game is the one to play. Wow, it makes you feel incredible!
Gonna hold off on the campaign until the Pro is released, but very excited to give that a shot.

Assists count towards levels. My MGL is like gen 3.
The lack of any verticality and flanking routes. The bad spawns. The crap that's laying around everywhere that you get stuck on. Any wallrunning that you can do leads straight to a kill zone where you get picked off. It's huge, yet too narrow at points for titans.

Northstar's weapon is awesome but his mine blows and his flight is useless.So Northstar is legit.

Not a mine but a trap. Holds them in place for a couple of seconds or until they shoot it. You want to bait players into it. As for flight, I mostly try to get the first shot in at the beginning of a match with it or use it on an enemy thats on another side of a wall or building who is busy with a teammate.
Try double trap with nuclear spec. Right as you eject throw it out and watch them squirm.
The only titan I have trouble with as Northstar is Ronin. When he rushes you down there isn't much you can do...that is until I realized the utility of his trap and flight. You move fast, like really fast with it. If your getting rushed down throw a trap out, back track with flight, stay calm and focused and charge your shots and fire.

I don't pay it much mind, but 8v8 in my area has gone up in off hours. Used to be like 80-100, but had like 600 tonight. Always nice to see it go up, especially as I adore 8v8. It should be the default imo.

Trapping rampaging Ronins is hilarious.
To really get the most out of Northstar, you have to be willing to let other people finish your food sometimes. Because you WILL have to retreat. Northstar's defense is turrrrrrble, and the Flight Core leaves you as a huge target so it's really not worth using at times.
On the other hand, the Rail Gun looks/sounds/feels incredible, and the Cluster Missiles are great at flushing out rooms and killing Pilots who decide to dance among the Titans. Northstar's my most used Titan even if I could be more effective with Ion and Tone.
I wouldn't go that far, maybe not as good as the some of the other Titan's kit, but tether trap and flight core are effective when used properly. I figured eventually people would realize how good Northstar is, just can't have too many on one team.

Electric smoke does a number on titans too
It's why I've been running the double smoke kit on my Ronin.
It builds core charge real fast as well.
If you have a weapon or boost that you absolutely, positively can't live without, you can just buy it with credits.
I don't mind it too much, but the bumpy, uneven terrain makes it difficult to maintain momentum.
Not even necessarily bhopping; I find myself getting caught while traversing in general, having to do that "pull up" animation at ground-level, which is a problem you don't have on other maps.
