I rewatched Kingsglaive tonight. I'm more certain than ever that

Nyx is Ifrit. The burned skin on his arm is pretty close to the differently-colored skin on Ifrit's arm. He's got that weird horn and his face towards the end looks more and more like some kind of fire demon's. If Ifrit is anyone in particular we know about, I'm betting it's Nyx.
