Why would Clueless Gamer segment put people up in arms in a 40+ page thread about the misrepresentation of a game?
It was a very entertaining thread tho. Just like this one. Its fun to see Schreier pointing fingers and rallying people towards someones opinion. Whether its true or not. Its just fishy.
I remember your posts on U4 early impressions. Was good to get solid information.

Its comedy, and its his opinion haha. Plus i believe it would be weird to try to get into a FF game where it looks like a boy band in a bro trip is heading to the mountains to look for hair gel before they go look for a wedding dress.
It was great.
Not so great that people take it personally as this is damaging the image of the game. All this talk is probably generating a lot of buzz around it already.

I don't bother with those type of threads and Conan for that matter opinion holds no weight to me.. I think the sentiment is that the faithful fans that want this game to be decent are always having an uphill battle with people latching on to every single thing to discredit the game. At times i think some feel that others want this game to fail miserably which is why you see the pushback.

Well that could be positive. I just want to know if it is any good, not a lot of interest in uncovering insiders. Whatever info they give should always be taken with a grain of salt and things do change in this industry so holding them over the fire for the things they get wrong is a waste of energy. Hindsight is always 20/20 so the "obvious" things aren't always obvious so people should get over themselves. For the crusade some people are on it is clear they are just envious of the attention they get.
I almost bought a pro the other day because I was getting hyped for this game. I have been ultra negative on the game since it was revealed as XV rather than a spin off, none of the demos have done anything for me (I haven't tried the new one) but I am a huge FF nerd and can't resist this hype. If the game truly turns out to be a stinker I will hold off for a steam release rather than double dipping like I did with the last stinker XIII.
I think anyone with some common sense will want the game to be good. Everyone benefits from a good game.
I dunno if the game will be good or not. Been mostly on media blackout. After not having an interest in it i played Duscae, it sold the game to me. I want the bro trip to be awesome, and i can't wait to play it.

Not that Schreirer is wrong, but a lot of details on XV have leaked or are known so it's not like it would be surprising if Verendus' review would match the previews.
In fact I think you can expect every review to match the previews to some extent.
