What the hell is college football?

Atlanta is not a prime sports town. You have the Braves who are in and out of the collective, and then the Hawks who are the traditional and the Falcons who are a part of the popular medium.

I'm not saying they have zero fans or they are not passionate, but it's a different beast from a big market.

I know, It was one hell of a ride, but at the end I always had hope. If anybody can bring the win it will be Brady. I may be an Eagles fan first but fuck Brady is the GOAT.

Out of everything that's happened with the pats in terms of controversy the Trump thing is the worst by far because I love Tom as a person... But I think he's a fool for the Trump thing.

That's me being cocky a bit. He probably IS the MVP, but I feel most of those votes were cast because of what he was able to do in the postseason.

Thing about this game is I like Matty. I'm hoping he can keep it up to this level for at least a couple more seasons.

If you can't separate the game from the current shit hole that is our government, that's too bad. Life is too short to stink up a Superbowl thread by reminding everyone how fucked we are with the orange troll in the white house. We all know Tom Brady has a "Make America Great Again" hat. Anyone with access to the internet and a passing interest in football already knows that. Why shit up this thread with reminders of it? Can we not enjoy this amazing comeback and amazing career without being reminded how fucked we are at the moment?

Enjoy it, I'm not stopping you. But it was going to get politicized. That's just how's it going to be. Twitter was full of that stuff during the game, it's going to be probably way more after.

Don't like it, well life can't just be divided like that. Athletes get a lot of passes for shit these days anyway. This is probably the least awful thing to get upset about.

This has to be the greatest "defeat" in football (sports?) history right? Blow a 25 pt lead in the last 17 mins in the Superbowl. You expected to win all game long, except you slept on actually finish the game. Poor Falcons.

I follow the Patriots and have since 2007. But then I only follow them as players and a team, that doesn't mean I like any of them personality wise.

My friend is a die hard fan that's at the Georgia dome at 6 am every home game tailgating. He was at the game tonight in the nosebleeds. I'm truly concerned for him. He's not answering the phone right now.

Great game. I always had hope but I was like please hurry up and get to the second half. They were playing like garbage in the first half and if it went any longer the lead would've got even bigger. I was sure they would turn things around in the second half and man they really really did.
