I remember hearing once the best way to make sure an animal or child goes mad is to punish or reward them at random. Which is pretty much exactly what they're doing with these prank videos.

Definitely need to get those kids out of there.

Absolute narcissists.
Turn the goddamn camera off, shut the site down, and deal with this very serious situation privately (or as privately as is now possible) and maybe allow these poor kids some respite from constantly draping their emotions over YouTube. They already have an unthinkable amount of healing to go through assuming these pieces of filth are really serious about changing and bettering themselves. Turn the camera off.

But no. They need to keep their 'audience' updated. They need to see themselves on the screen. Oh how much they've changed in an entire week (or less?)...

I'll just continue waiting in the hopes that there are some real consequences for their behavior. My cynical side tells me I'm going to be let down on that front. I hope I'm wrong.

Yea. This is really what it comes down to. Stop using your kids for YT ads when it's unhealthy as fuck of an environment for them to be in.

So many kids defending them..........

I'm going to assume a lot of the people who defend shit like this probably had awful circumstances in their childhood as well and feel this stuff is normal. Fits well into that cycle of abuse.

Or they are just internet dickhead edgelords who think its all funny.

I saw a post on twitter in support of them, and it seemed like a young girl and it was basically " I mean yeah they get hurt sometimes, but they get a lot of stuff so it's cool"

I realized that a lot of these children that watch this show probably don't think it's all that bad or maybe even good because they personally get abused but don't get shit :(

DietRob

i've been begging for over 5 years.
They probably monetized the apology video so I'm not clicking that shit.

Yep same here. Beyond the fact that it's likey monetized I have ZERO desire to make myself even more pissed off by watching their crocodile tears. Hopefully they are big enough narcissists to vlog their court appearances and hopefully jail sentencing. Nah, there won't be any justice here which is the only thing I want.

Nothing in life has ever ignited my base parenting instincts like these people. The way they treat those kids, especially the youngest two, is beyond rephrehensible. Every part of me wants social services to save those kids from these absolute low life assholes.

So this channel is still up.

Meanwhile, a video of a cat being pet next to the word "gay" is put on restriction with a quickness.

Huh.

"We just wanted our kids to be happy, and we went about it the wrong way"

... who knew, terrorizing your child for the enjoyment of strangers on the internet was not the right way to make your kids happy.

I watched a few things about this on Youtube and I have to say that all of this is incredibly unsettling.

First, how did they amass almost a million subscribers? How did this go unnoticed for so long? There must be some sort of bystander effect going on here.

I was also absolutely shocked at just how oblivious and childish this couple has acted while "apologizing." It's obvious they don't think they've done anything wrong since they went off on some rant about it being the fault of someone else.

There is something off with this couple and I would be more empathetic of their problems if their kids weren't in harm's way. I hope CPS steps in and helps resolve all of this. These kids, especially Cody, should not be treated like this.

Wow, that new apology vid I'm guessing they had a lawyer consult them? Way different tone. They even removed the old "aquisations" video.
Guessing so. Wouldn't be surprised if the whole therapy thing they talk about is also advised by lawyers for an upcoming custody battle and such.

Not sure if its true, but according to this reddit comment they're going through and deleting negative comments.

Some folks in the comments are claiming the same:

They haven't changed a bit. Fuck them.

What I find concerning is that despite it being a few days since all this blew up we still haven't heard anything about investigations or the kids being taken away or anything. I don't know how all this works in the US but is it safe to assume that some sort of social services and/or police might already be in action on this issue?

Gah, the defense force and how many are kids is just another shining example of why they shouldn't be left alone on the internet and Youtube (not the community, the community itself is a sewer) needs to badly clean itself up.

Google wont shut down the channel or demonetize the videos but they sure as hell will demonetize videos for having the word "LGBTQ" in the title. Come on now.

- Glasses ☑️
- Sweater vest with collared shirt combo, newly purchased for this video ☑️
- Bookshelf that would have books in it if they owned books ☑️
- Crocodile tears ☑️

I like how the still managed to blame the escalating videos on their children.

There's a funny reddit comment that basically said that they dress like if you were to tell kids to dress like adults would look.

He even looks like his dad is behind the camera telling him to be nice and proper.

Also lol at those clothes being way too big for him.

The books on the shelf behind them are fascinating reading...

"Beating Your Kids for Fun and Profit."
"Shitty Parenting for Shitty Parents."
"Bruising for Dummies."
"1001 Excuses for Not Knowing Any Better."

Shouldn't somebody be calling the police or social services or something?

They have and I assume they are investigating. The fact that the Internet is weighing heavy does not mean that this case gets fast tracked. I have to admit that all the follow up videos are truly no better and are just filing it in a sense.

I've volunteered with at risk kids and also at a children's home/family center. You would not believe the things that occur and this does not diminish what happened. What I will say is the if a fraction of the attention and empathy that this situation received was applied to what sadly happens on a daily basis so many cases could be brought to light.

Do these scumbags still have the kids? I've lost all faith in humanity is that's the case.

Go to your local DES/CPS and see if you can get a volunteer opportunity with a case worker. You will not only really lose faith you will ask how it's possible that these things occur frequently.

Yes. Chances are they will keep the kids. They will go to some type of counseling probably record/vlog the process. If smart they will monetize it and the same supporters will take it all in without a second though. If they are really really smart maybe Dr. Phil will jump on the wagon.

"This has been the worst week of our lives."

Time to learn consequences have actions you worthless cunts.

If this is their primary source of income, I hope these assholes can never find work again. A google search of this asshole's name leads to accusations of child abuse

Best case scenario is that they do go through family counseling and learn how to actually be good parents to their kids. Their YouTube channel is done. I don't see them being able to create content anymore. I hope they do learn about the damage they've been doing to their children and grow the fuck up and act like real parents.

Best case is Cody and his sister go back to their biological mother away from these two monsters.
