Dude went over the line, but I have to say he didn't go WAY over the line. For the first few swings, I would say he was defending himself. Idiots jumped the counter and advanced on him. After they went down though, he should have stopped.
Still, he's going to have an affirmative self-defense because he'll probably say they were trying to get back up or something.

They deserved to get the shit beat out of them but not with a metal rod. As soon as they hopped the counter they earned what they get after. In this case, the guy was a guy with a violent past who clearly lost it a bit. He should probably get in trouble but he'll probably get too much IMO. Don't feel bad for the women in the slightest.

Well he was being assaulted by two people. On the one hand, those customers drove the guy insane but then he beat the shit out of them. I don't know how I feel about this... I feel like those two had an ass kicking coming to them, but not that bad of one.

Depends on what the charges are once they get near trial (the initial charges are almost never what you REALLY get charged with). And depends on his criminal history (is he on parole,circumstances of his previous crimes). As fucked as it sounds he would be in ten times more legal trouble if the women in question were white. A racist juries hatred could possibly help him defend himself (crazy black women going off in public). Where as he would be facing the electric chair if the two women were white.
To all you theory fighters out there: have any of you actually been in a real fight? I mean it's easy to say he went overboard by hitting them while they were down, but who knows what they were doing or saying? Some people aren't just going to say "Well golly! You sure showed me mister!" and stop their attack even if they are down. ESPECIALLY if they're buck enough to antagonize and then JUMP OVER A COUNTER FOR MORE.

Now as of right now there are still a great number of white knights in other communities so those females are somewhat safe for the time being. But what those other races of women don't see is how in the black community all of the white knights have completely flipped the script. In the black community we have a LOT of black men who are fed up with black women and are knocking females out left and right.
