I enjoy watching matches between top players. I have zero interest in the drama and personalities. I don't plan to watch this event based on what has been revealed thus far.
Totally fine, but your interests are already covered. This, I believe, has a different purpose.
I'd like to see people not already all over streams and getting tourney attention. I'm most interested in the idea of taking an average joe non-tourney fighting game player and seeing how he/she improves with top coaching, not yet another battle of the fighting game pros in their closed circle we can see anytime. This should be a chance to show how one can become more skilled and evolve, but if handled poorly (i.e. all current pros) it could further alienate the average gamer from the fighting game community.
They should only require basic fighting game competence and an interesting personality.
