Another awesome episode. I enjoy the hell out of all CIA bits. Plus putting Fusco essentially undercover is such a good idea.

And the show continues it's proud tradition of incredble ending songs with If I Had A Heart by Fever Ray

agreed this show is definitely amongst the best of the shows i'm watching now especially since a lot of my other shows have been on the decline lately (fringe, californication, the office, how i met your mother, two and a half men). it's funny as a self admitted hater of police procedural shows 3 of the better shows i'm watching now are POI, Hawaii Five-0, and Castle...

this show has really found its feet after a shaky beginning

but what I don't get is the need to keep Fusco and Carter in the dark about each other.

seems really unnecessary and will probably lead to hurt feelings and betrayal in the future.

this show has something amazing going on. in every beginning of an episode i am all like "yeah standard episode, nothing special" and when it is done I am so hyped again. the atmosphere in the end was perfect.

Great episode. I was nervous as hell at the ending that LSO would bomb the undercover's car or something and kill his family. Was pleasantly surprised when Snow and his team black-bagged him. Poor Fusco... finally turns a new leaf and has to be put back in the shit.

Loving this show.

Wow, things got pretty bleak very quick. Fusco has it rough but it makes sense considering how deep he can get and his past.

Loving the portrayal of the CIA, something I wouldn't think I would ever seen on this type of show.

Interesting they showed that Obama speech, very subtle hints there.

I need more of this show...NOW!!!

The Machine leads Reese and Finch to Wall Street when a sharp young trader at a major investment bank becomes embroiled in a multi-million dollar financial scam.

CBS has been horrible about this with this show. It seems like a replay episode every other week for some reason. It sucks and creates viewer confusion.

Yep

Really like Finch's sense of humor, even if it runs counter to how his story started (and how secretive he is.). Wonder if they added it, since the show doesn't have many outlets for humor.

Nice to see "Lt. Ken Shay" do some work as the uncle. My favorite guy from Rescue Me.

Im loving this show alot. Every episode is better than the last. though my favorite is still the East German spy episode.

I also like the CIA in this and I usually don't like stuff in which they are the 'major antagonists'.(yeah I know)

I like that, for a show with a set process (help person in need every week!) that each episode has a really strong "premise". Chasing down spies, getting involved in undercover cop situations, bank robberies, survival situations (thinking of the Elias-Russian projects episode), the dirty cop episodes.

Just feels varied, and never seems "stale"

Dumb question, was the pharmaceutical company they referenced the one they helped to shutdown earlier in the season?

and man what a great episode, I scream Lou as well when I saw him. Also Luke for you FNL fans. great episode, this show stays fresh and love that they have so many side story lines, that when they bring one back, elias in this case, the viewer is like oh shit!

If you're referring to the "Fix" episode, then no I don't think so. That pharmaceutical company was corrupt in it's own way (selling a drug that had horrible side effects). I highly doubt it was related to today's episode.

edit/ nvm then lol

Another great episode, I love how we got to see a bit into Reese's past and how he will still care for the people that took him while homeless.

Also, hnnnnng at the suits they were wearing. So good

Song at the end : Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Down Boy

Yes, that was the CEO (the dad character that Finch burned hard with his speech at the end of the episode). He got a guilty verdict for that girls murder and probably for fraud (lying about results of the drug trials)

I like that Elias is presented as if he's the boogieman, even if he appears to be a mild mannered man.

Another great episode. I loved the continutity they carry with the sentenced CEO. Such little things count a lot in big picture. Elso..Elias..yeah.

also, the subtle humor works really well. Like the face Reese made after Finch said :Banking is mostly looking smart and wearing the right clothes. And we've managed the second.

I was watching them film this show yesterday out in City Hall for about 15minutes.

It was just the lead character walking up to a door and trying to open it.

Took like 5 takes.

Yeah, he's a great character. His appearance doesn't strike you at all as some criminal mastermind but just an average everyday guy. It was great so hear him sound actually very pleased when he got the call from Reese.

At forst: wowowowow the ending. The moment that scar-guy looked into the cam I had chills down my spine. loved the episode, this show keeps on giving.

does anyone have a link to that scene in the beachhouse of an earlier episode where it stays unclear if john kills the guy or not? i searched youtube for it, but i forgot which episode it was.

Thinking now, if I should have noticed the SEC guy and the broker, being put in separate police cars, should have tipped us off. I thought nothing of it. Knew something was going to happen, but I thought it was going to be "SEC guy gets away" as he's connected with this behind the scenes power. Now, have to wonder, if Elias is in the same grouping as the hacker and the dirty cops, or are these separate. And if the CIA is also in this.

So many good side stories.

WTF CBS? Thought the show had been on re runs since they stopped putting new episodes on their website. Wouldn't they rather people watched the show on their website instead of other ways?

Was nice to watch the last 4 back to back, great way to spend a lazy afternoon/evening.

This show continues to pull me in.

Loved the ending, as soon I saw the crooked cop I knew it was Elias and the plot was woven so perfectly to bring him in.

I can't wait two more weeks for another episode.

God damn this show is awesome. Didn't get some stuff since I don't really understand wall street and insider trading shit but I still got to enjoy it.

And finally, Elias is back! Man that dude is a BOSS!

Also, what's the ending song? Sounded awesome.

When The Machine spits out the number of a 6-month-old baby, Reese and Finch turn into overly protective parents – with an arsenal at their disposal. Meanwhile, when Elias resurfaces, Detective Carter begins to question her new allegiance with Reese and Finch

Good episode. I can't remember. Does Elias get along with his dad or not? Was he trying to kill him? No preview after the episode so looks like a repeat again next week. Only 1 new episode this time. Great fucking job CBS!

If I remember correctly he's taking over his dad's empire and the other crime empires out of spite for killing his mother. That's why John thought he'd help with the child this week.

I still can't get over the fact that Elias doesn't look like a threatening mob boss.

Maybe that's a good thing? I dunno

Good episode though

Awesome episode (laughed at that "police sketch" of Finch). But damn you CBS for the way you're treating this show. I mean, come on, can we get a reasonable airing schedule for this thing or what?

Elias is awesome. He so easily took control of the situation and played John perfectly. And yeah, the fact that he looks so ordinary and nothing like a threatening mob boss or organization leader makes him all the more intimidating IMO.

Good Show. Almost cruel though, with the various things happening to the baby. Playing with Gas Grenades, multiple kidnappings, being left in a freezer, given a stripper name.

And Dammit, more weeks off. Screw College Basketball.
