Bad tag cancels can definitely be birthday'd still. He was likely referring to the raw tags only.

Vampire Saviour is trash but it has Jedah who is one of the most fun characters to play of any game so I dunno what to think. Capcom Fighting Jam Jedah > Vampire, though.

Yeah, when the Cross Assault show started, everyone kept SRKing into a tag cancel. It took 3-4 days before people realized that's happy-birthday central. The SRK blockstun isn't long enough, so you can hit the guy coming in and still get Ryu/Ken on the way down.
With so many shotos on the Street Fighter team, Aris should've got his team to find the best punish for that.

20% defense boost for 30 SECONDS by blocking 10 times? Block 10 attacks for 20% meter reduction?
20% speed boost by hitting with 4 specials?
And that's all in the first pack!
Connect with 4 special moves: 40% meter boost and 10% damage boost for 15 seconds, and 20% meter boost and 10% damage boost for an additional 5.
That's one good combo(2 special moves, launcher, tag back, 2 special moves).

At least not at release...lol. I would not be surprised at all if they are just timed exclusive and end up being paid DLC for 360 later on.
Any non-Tekken players going straight to the Tekken players when this comes out? It'll be a lot easier to pick the ones you like now rather than a year from now when everyone online is a killer.
10 total blocks or 10 hits blocked? If it's 10 hits blocked, characters like Rolento will probably activate this after every block string.

I don't know about that, actually. Capcom said they spoke to Microsoft about exclusive characters and Microsoft wasn't interested.
I'll be trying Lili and Asuka straight away, along with Poison.
Still don't know which ones will stick, though...
I'm also quite curious about Jin -- boring character design but his fireballs are intriguing -- and King, who looks quite sick.
Never really liked Tekken, but the tekken characters are the ones I'm the most interested in, probably because they feel fresh to me.

I'd think those would refer to Microsoft equivalents of Cole, not Megaman and Pac-Man.
Given that MM and Pac-Man are the official Capcom / Namco mascots for the game, I will honestly be shocked if they don't come to 360 as DLC.
It's Cole and the cats who are the Sony exclusives.
I play all fighters, but to me, the SF characters look really boring compared to the Tekken characters. I think the next evolution of SF is to make them more like these Tekken characters.
I plan on playing Jin, Raven, Kaz, and Lili.
