Well, he is too overpowered in Melee. He's the best character in the game.
I'm probably the only one, but I would love for the gameplay physics to be more similar to SSB64. That's one of my favorite games ever, and my disappointment at what Melee did to the franchise's physics still hasn't gone away completely.

What is DK in love with?
Nah. Fox and Falco are better. However...
That needs some fixing. Rest doesn't.

I can see these happening:
Lucario replaced by Zoroark
Pokemon Trainer updated to Black/White starters
Toon Link, ROB, and Snake taken out
Ike replaced by Krom
Seeing some of these posts from competitive Smashers makes me wonder why there isn't a thread for competitive Smash talk like there is for dem fighting games.
Does Brawl really count, though?

The best strategy ever. Especially if you are in that little alcove on Hyrule Castle as Kirby. :lol

Also I doubt Sonic and Snake will be back. I know we've already talked about the possibility of Namco adding in some characters, but I wonder how far they would take that.
I doubt they'd change Pokemon Trainers Pokemon. I mean, there's a reason they had him use the original starters rather than gen 3 or 4 starters.

Yeah. They are iconic and represent the concept of evolution in Pokemon, in a way. Trainer is fine by himself too, I wouldn't want another trainer with different Pokemon when they could put that effort elsewhere.
I agree its odd though; smash is the only major competitive game not featured on GAF.
Contrary to belief, smash has never had clones. There are characters that have very similar animations and models, but when it comes down to it the way they are played is VERY different. Fox is faster than Falco, Falco's "side-b" pushed characters down while Fox's pushes them up, ETC.
We actually have a bunch of competitive Melee heads in GAF (grats to Anth0ny for making bracket at IMPULSE <3) but we've never gotten together.
Its hard to mesh with the casual smash-GAF group because we don't really share the same interests, I suppose.

FYI Sakurai wants Wolf in. In that Smash thread it was said he's been pushing him in Smash since 64.
I hope Leon makes it in too. One mammal/bird vs mammal/reptile.
Assuming it were to be in its own thread I don't see why the two sides of smash would be butting heads since the casual side wouldn't (or should I say shouldn't) be there anyway, a simple rule as to not shit up such a thread with blubbering about either games superiority and how it's "supposed" be played sounds simple enough to enforce, well maybe.
I guess the real issue is are there enough competitive smashers here for such a thread to thrive?
Ridley, you can add all the Geno and Krystal you want afterwards.

Huh, weird then that Falco got in first in Melee. (If one of them got cut I would hope Wolf, Falco is way more fun)
You can add Ridley but hell no to those two.
Why doesn't GAF just have its own roster vote a la that one they keep doing for all the cool kids in Japan whenever a new Smash is to debut? I'd love to see the statistics that would come up from a GAF tally.
Mike Jones, Takamaru, Lip, Issac, Lil' Mac, Ridley, Toad, Daisy/Rosalina get my votes easy.
That drawing reminds me of the more cartoony old boxart of smash 64.
Would love if we got one of those again.
Wolf was supposed to get in but Falco was placed in first. That's why he was in the opening.

So what is the consensus on the most requested new comers in Smash 4? Would the top three be (not counting 3rd parties) Little Mac, Ridley, and Isaac? (in no particular order)
KIRBY CONFIRMED

Isaac's chances have gone down considerably after Dark Dawn both bombed and was an awful game.
